Exclamation New: XSPC "RX Series" rads

I found these on XSPC's site, didn't see anything on here so i thought i'd raise the alarm so to speak.

    http://www.xspc.biz/rx360.php

They are also releasing 120 and 240 models.
    http://www.xspc.biz/rx.php

From what i can tell they'll line up against the PA120.3, GTX360 and TFC's Xchanger 360. Kinda looks like a cross between the GTX360 and TFC360. Specs are below, taken directly from their site. The fin density of 8FPI caught my attention, does that make this that the most open rad to date?

What are your thoughts? XSPC have brought out some good products recently and continue to hit a competitive price point. This could end up being a viable alternative in the market.

Details and photos of the RX series are now online, we will be shipping the product very shortly. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Introducing the RX360, the highest performing triple fan radiator XSPC have ever released. At close to twice the thickness of the RS series radiators it has excellent cooling capabilities and the sub 8fpi gives the radiator very low air flow resistance. The RX360 has been designed and optimised for low speed fans so it can offer high performance cooling at very low noise levels.
    - Black Gloss Finish
    - Dimensions: 125x58.5x410mm (WxDxH)
    - Copper Tubes and Fins
    - Sub 8fpi (fins per inch)
    - G1/4" Ports
    - M4 Case and Fan Screws

I can't give out numbers presently and I only have a 120. But the bad thing is, I had to test with a 300w heat load, typically 120's should only be used with 150w heat load or less.

I was very happy to see this rad when I opened up the box. Even though I have a prototype, the paint is nicer than a TC. And for a prototype it sure looked like production ready.

I'm eager to see what the price point is going to be.

That is exactly what i wanted to hear. Can't wait for the final numbers!

The XSPC site says availability in January, so we'll wait till then to see what prices will be like.

8 FPI... that's really low. I think TCs are 14 and HW GTXes are 20... MCRs are somewhere in the middle.

8 FPI though, I wonder if that hurts the performance? Time will tell.

That would rock. Nice to see all the companies adopting:
    1. Thickness and girth
    2. G 1/4" fittings
    3. 15 MM Fan spacing

Well, except for one renegade company Hint Hint Hint

TC time to get with the program

Looks like PC Water Cooling in the UK has them listed as being available soon, and can be contacted for the price: http://watercooled-pcs.co.uk/en/xspc...-radiator.html

Should be interesting at what price point they'll be selling for - still looking for a good replacement/upgrade for this MCR320.

Competition is always good, but they all just look like dressed-up Thermochills. Cathar and Marci got it right the first time, look how long it has taken for others to come out with competing models.

    Nuttin', just yankin' your chain

I'm a low CFM guy, so the closest I can get the HWLabs is the GTS.

    Yeah. Made that mistake once

I do not know if Marci leaving is just a coincidence?
