Eibach is the way to go in my mind they beat the crap out of any other brand in handling specially in my Focus. For the Peon opps mean Neon I believe they make a pretty good kit for. Specially if you race I would def try them out.

If you're racing, I'd go with the S-Tech's over Eibach Pro-kits or Sportlines. From what I've read, the S-Tech's have a higher spring rate than Eibachs, although I couldn't find any actual spring rate specs. For the Neon, it's 201/197 lbs. front/rear.

I don't race race (someday hopefully) but, I do participate in track day time trials with a car club that I also autocross with.

$$$ is always the problem. What I want to do and what I can afford to do are at complete opposite ends of the spectrum. Ideally, two cars. But that's just not an option right now. So, I'd like to figure out a compromise somewhere between street and track performance....leaning slightly toward track....I do have to commute with the car too.

And then there's this problem I have that I really, really want a rear wheel drive car. So I'm constantly fighting myself dropping $$$ on a real suspension vs. saving it towards a RWD car and just leaving the neon alone.

    I hate my indecision [/venting]

I'm in the same boat, along with the RWD car lol. I drive this car every day, and ride isn't bad. Definitely more rough than stock, just pay more attention to potholes, bumps, manholes, etc. and you'll be fine.

And for the record: yes, the hatchback versions are nice. Firstly I was dissapointed with subaru's choice of creating a whole new spectrum for the impreza. But damn look at sysfailurs' one.

The exhausts are nice too m8. Too bad your vid doesnt work here :S would love to hear that sound!
just a dream of mine to own such a Subaru!
Thanks man! I personally love the new style. I've always liked the older models but this one has a little bit more "grown up" feel to it on the inside and out, plus the added space to make it more functional.

Next up on my list of mods is some wheels/tires/coilovers and then it will really be where I want it to be. For now I'll just rock the winter tires--but then again, driving it int he snow is a hoot!

Also, one last thing--try opening the video in VLC media player. It should work fine if you have all the updated codecs.

I knew you folks behind the Atlantic don't know anything about the other world but this was surprising.. Opel is just as old and famous German car manufacturer as BMW, Mercedes Benz or Volkswagen.. GM brand since 1929. Nothing to do With Capris or Mustangs or any Fords.. My Omega MV6 is the same car that has been sold in America under the name Cadillac Catera and Opel Corsa is called Vauxhall Nova in the UK. Also many other Opel models are sold in the US under Chevrolet and Saturn brand.. Here's a small guide http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opel

Don't expect too much Btw, does your MV6 has a lsd? The MV6 B-Omega is pretty nice but what I have heard they are not that reliable.

    ps. Driving a 99 B-Vectra myself

Yes, 45% LSD, rolls nicely both wheels on wet tarmac, sometimes even on dry.. And with automatic transission including winter program it's very good car to go in winter conditions also. About reliability, what can i say, it's Opel My problems with the Omega have been small oil and water leaks in engine and transmission. Nothing serious.. Strut mountings i had to change in front, the front wheel supports are a bit too light for this weighted car.. 270 000km already driven so not a miracle if some problems appear.. Rust is ofcourse one little trouble with these over 10year old rides.. But very nice ride when in good shape and nice acceleration in highway speeds, not a 0-100km/h rocket..

Yeah, I knew when I bought my car that Opel's are not known for great reliability (not the worst but not the best). I like my Vectra but I hate the fact that almost every Vectra (excluding Sport models) have very long gear ratios. That kills the acceleration and doesnt improve the fuel economy that much.

You should tint the windows out on the van and spray paint free candy on the side, but that is just my opinion.

A small note about the Fit (USA & Asia), Jazz (Europe); "Honda originally intended to name the car Fitta, but the word's meaning in some languages — in Swedish, Danish and Norwegian, "fitta", "fisse" or "fitte" is a rather crude slang term for vagina — resulted in a last-minute change to Jazz." Thats why it got two names, same car!

Picked this rig up for $425, not perfect but power everything works, interior is flawless, runs and drives great, it's got a 5 speed, hell the AC works too, something my comfortable to daily drive than my off-road rig.
