I'm glad there doesn't seem to be much issues with this board, I be getting it sometime this week.

Only major problem I ever have read about is that large video cards can cover the PCI ports, like if you are using two 4780 x2s?

It's been reported that Vista sleep mode is broken on the P6T. The only way it works is if you cripple BCLK.
    Can anyone verify?

A friend of mine just bought this board. It officially supports SLI with 9800+ and GTX260/280.
Guess what? He runs 7900GTO SLI on win XP without problems (till new grahpics cards are available).

It begins on page 2-14 in the manual.

Thanks, I ended up getting the corsair dominator 1600's...I don't feel like dealing with RAM compatibility issues, otherwise I prolly would have gone a different route.

Memory compatability is a big issue with this board, at least that has been my experience.

I have 6GB of perfectly good Samsung DDR3-1600 here, that apparently won't work with this board (at least with the orig 0402 BIOS). Tech support doesn't want to know you once they narrow down the problem to memory and you don't have one of the few kits that is on the QVL. I'm going to order some G-SKILL DDR3-1333 from Newegg and then hopefully everything will work. I shouldn't have to deal with this crap though with a $300 board; not just the memory incompatability but also rude tech support. And their RMA department that sends out a board with the oldest BIOS available even though you specifically request one with the latest stable BIOS, given that there have been 3 BIOS updates since launch, all of which say that they "Improve memory compatibility."

I've seen plenty of people running 12GB of the Corsair Dominators on this board. It is either bad settings on your part or problems with Compatibility.

Here are some screen shots of OLD Corsair Memory Cooler vs NEW version. I tried putting on my old one to a 1366 board and it did not look all that great. I just received my 6 x 1GB sticks about 1 hour ago along with my Swiftech APOGEE GTZ block. I should get it all running by Sunday.. I will let you guys know if the 6 x 1GB stick work with all the memory slots filled.

I'm very interested in how your 6 x 1GB sticks of Corsair DDR3-1866 works out. I've been waiting for the 6GB kit but I'm getting impatient and almost bought a 3GB kit today when I noticed your message.

Does Corsair's new memory cooler cover all 6 memory slots?

It runs 12 gigs, but I said it wont run at 1600mhz.

IF someone has managed to do so, please let me know your qpi and vdimm settings that you are using.

This is what it says in the manual, "Due to Intel spec definition, X.M.P. DIMMs and DDR3-1600 are supported for one DIMM per channel only."

Not sure if that is related to why I cant run 1600 with all slots populated.

I am using 1.66vdimm and QPI volts set to 1.35

My original ram was samsung ddr3 also, and they too would not boot in any configuration.

So we do NOT need to water cool the NB on this board? DD is willing to cut me a new top for my X38 block, but if it is not worth it, I would love to be able to stick to a CPU only loop. How hot does the NB get after heavy overclocking and load? How do you guys know that WCing the NB won't help? I don't think anybody has tried it yet, on any board.

To anyone considering cooling any of the following; North bridge, South bridge and MOSFET's. I've provided a few images below in regards to removal. The passive stock cooling that comes with the board is actually one piece, so if you only want to water cool say the North bridge, you're going to have to modify the stock heat sinks (by cutting the heat pipe that connects all the sinks).

The MOSFET's come with pre cut thermal tape stock, the North bridge and South bridge come with pre cut sheets of thermal compound stock.

The stock cooling is held down with several spring loaded pins (removal described below). Depending what your goal is, whether it is to just replace the stock compound on all the sinks, or if it's to water cool, some or all the chips, this should give you a bit of insight.

Sorry if the images are slightly blurry, my medication causes tremors.

Blocks are currently on the board to check if I've got enough clearance from the MOSFET's to have a internal top mounted radiator for the CPU loop.

Won't be getting the tubing till the 5th of January, so don't hold your breath in the mean time. It should be together some time after that, I'll post some statistics when I get there.

I would really like to hear from anyone who has this board stable at 4GHz on air. A couple of folks I know and myself are stuck at 3.8GHz.

How hot does the NB get on overclocked load with the stock cooling solution? Does water cooling it really make a difference as it did on X48/38?

If I can get some sort of control (i.e. temperatures/different levels of overclock) on air. I'd be happy to make a comparison for you and report my findings here.
