I can't say that I have any cold boot issues myself... Save, of course, the whole not booting at all incident. I have a feeling that was somehow my fault though.

It looks like you have the 9-9-9-24 latency Corsair kit, while people with the problem have the Dominator 8-8-8-24 latency kit. I have the Dominator kit running 8-8-8-24 1t and I never have this coldboot issue....I am thinking faulty boards maybe?? Has anyone just reduced the timings to 9-9-9-24 2t like the cheaper Corsair kit and seen if it stops the coldboot??

Thanks for the response. Exactly the same as everyone else with the cold boot problem. Have to power cycle the PSU to get a boot. Did troubleshooting for a month (got the board when if first came out). Tried everything, and I've been messing with PCs since the IBM PC XT. The board is bundled up and on its way back to Newegg. No question. Defective.
