Hey Teyber looking at the design again I have a couple of questions:

    1) The cap line goes in the top spraying refrigerant onto the top circle and then pulls down to the suction at the bottom at the cut edges correct?
    2) Are the circles angled downwards to aid in the flow and suction or are they straight?

Never empower an idiot with a response....

    hey!

    1) no the cap tube goes to the base layer then the suction is at the top.
    2) i would need a 5 axis cnc mill or a lathe to do angled slots.

    cheers!

When the refrigerant is at hundred psi I think the refrigerant will find its way, angled or not, but this would be kinda interesting to see if it does make a difference. Maybe increase the velocity of the refrigerant? But also maybe thats bad because it doesnt absorb as much heat while in evap?

    Hmmm......

When I recieved my first Chilly1 Evaps they had the Cap tube coming in at the top, suction line feeding at the bottom.

I thought that was strange and just the reverse of what I thought it should be.

I had a long talk with Jinu one day about that and he said that he tried them both ways and it didn't make any differance in performance.

    So did I Teyber.

I thought that the Cap Tube should go all the way to the bottom and spray right on the part closest to the CPU.

But from I was told with the Chilly1 Evap at least it didn't really matter.

    Nice Evaps and enclosures btw
