interesting about the vtts and vcore. I totally agree with you. After fiddling with my q9650 i found that the Vtt is key. Also it has been quite a struggle oc'ing these q9650s with my ASUS P5E3 Premium Wifi@n x48 lol....
These q9650 sure dont mind 1.48+ Vtts!
Most I managed was 490 FSB into Windows with 1:1 FSB:Ram ratio although volts/temp are not easy to swallow :p
From my observations so far I think 4.2 would be good for 24/7 use matched with some good mems/latencies.
I have not yet seen someone with 1800Mhz ram and 4.2+ Ghz Prime Blend 8 hours stable so if anyone has any pics plz share
