My point of view was performance-wise tho, but I see your point I also don't think nvidia made this card to gain profits, just for a marketing thing the only one affected here could be the 4870X2 since now it has a good contender, with same or less price tag (depends on ati brand) less consumption and better performance that combined with good drivers service is the winning combo !
