Seems to me as if making that for the amount of money it's going to cost that skiping dice for ln2 is the ticket. So far I know that i'm goin to need alot of insulation for mb vgas'...i'd like to have two or 4 depending upon what design for my 3870x2s' then a nice pot for cpu...not sure if I would want one on n/b as I might opt for putting LS...ahh...2nd thought ...pot on n/b too. Then a dewar...with pressure valve...then probes for all the pots...at least one temperature reader that can read 4 or more temps simultaneously....and or 4 separate lcds....whosh...that's alot of dough already.

This is my ? how much is a this stuff:

    1-F1 cpu pot

    2-tek-9 4.0 need 4 of them...yekkss

3-Taylor Wharton LD50 dewar with pressure valve setup

    4-insulation supplies

    5- 3xtemp probes & lcds' readouts

    6-juice for the ld50

7-anything else I did not mention

Please guys I'm curious to try ln2...and so I want to know everything about as much before hand.

I am just guessing here, but your talking about some major cash to get all that one go.

Bran new the LD50 wil be ~$2,000+. A LD25 with stand, pressure top was like ~$1,500 here. Best bet is to just hang out on ebay and look for em there, or try and find used ones around. To fill a LD50 in my town, costs normal buyers ~$125ish maybe a bit more. Not telling my costs

Ask Vince about the pots or look around for used ones. Thats about another ~$2,000 for all that stuff.

The rest of the supplies are nothing compared to the costs of Pots and Dewars.

Just collect your stuff slowly and get it when you can find the right prices, new or used.

Call blackhole for a 25L dewar, costs $180 shipped. Talk to AirGas about either having a 180L dewar delivered or storing a 180L dewar at their local facility and filling off it yourself. This will drop your LN2 costs by half. Then go either search for a used LN2 pot or buy one from a notable seller. My entire LN2 setup cost me $700 with $160 deliveries of 180L dewars to my house. Much cheaper than $2000

Deposit? Psh. Setup an account with AirGas and it's dirt cheap with no deposit.

I got a taylor wharton 50LD from the black hole for an outrageously good price. I had to sweet talk them for a while though. THey said no more at that price (I was gonna buy a few and throw em on ebay) too bad

btw... $240 shipped LMAO! talk about deal of the century

My setup other than the dewar is

    2x copper/alu gpu pots
    copper/alu cpu pot
    copper/alu northbridge pot
(all made by duniek - who I highly recommend for a first time setup)

    Fluke 51S digi therm
Some chinese brand digi therm 2 inputs (cant read chinese so I dunno what brand it is)

My total setup was about $700.

Cost to fill my 50LD is $80 or $1.60/liter.

I goto a welding supply shop (they have dry ice too cheap $.50/lb), guys think im crazy using the stuff to cool a computer. they always ask me what I blew up this time...

I can't seem to find K type thermocouple beaded probes that are rated below -50C...where do you all get yours?

    Would this work?
