How many spare parts do you have around your house in case your cruncher goes down? Do you have enough to keep another cruncher up?

If you have enough spare parts around to repair a cruncher, you have enough spare parts to build another one. In my case, I have everything par a PSU. In other words, I have a cruncher that's missing a PSU (New Toy in my sig)

I do have 2 backup CPUs, but just dualies. I'm trying to figure out if I can afford to get another Quad going. I mean, I have the board & everything else, just not the CPU. I've had my eyes on the Q9*** series for a while just to see what they can do.

Did you do any other Distributed Computing projects prior to WCG & what was it?

Nah man we only got maybe 4 inches of da white stuff. That only took 45mins to shovel and do off my car then re-shovel the parts around my car.

I did do Rosetta and D2OL and still do dimes and majestic12 and will start f@h once I do recieve my 9800GT from Gigabyte(won in contest) and get 8600GT back from RMA and get my buddy to get me my 7600GT back.

I regret nothing so far. I'm still young enough to be able to afford to make mistakes. So far I've seen everything as lesson for next time, not sure how long I can keep doing that, probably for another decade or two.
