Yep ia am gettig bored of my q6600 now and need a upgrade. I have to say this cpu looks very tempting and more right for my new years budget.. Cant wait to see those benchmarks

I my self buy the chip that do work best for me within a budget or i have the nost interest in... Next time it may seem like a amd chip based on early speculations around the net "it may beat my q6600". What ever you buy is up to you, but just because someone wants a particular brand is their choice. Without fans having a favorite team makes the game lame. I root for AMD/ATI reguardless! FYI, I own a Q6600 system and it's not fun. and yes, that's according to me, but I understand the world don't revole around me nor AMD/ATI....so I stay in my comfy little world called the AMD section and never go to the Intel section to steal someone elses shine. You would die and go to heaven before you see a post by me in the Intel section. I respect their hustle, but some don't seem to respect mine/other PRO-AMD enthusiast....which this section is catered to.

Sounds like you are making a style choice for a product that has a visual presence, and perhaps even a technical advantage within a price range if you are a serious runner.
Your fanboy statements regarding technology though suggest you will stick with a product even if it is inferior to a rival product.

As i have stated i am interested in the next amd cpu and interested in getting one for my next cpu if it overclocks as well as seen ..
