    I dont buy this, isnt there a pic with some guy priming 4ghz on the stock cooler hitting like 98c and its still stable?

    Yes, you are right, there is, and maybe there are a few total. There is even a guy here that runs low volts 4.2GHz OC perfectly stable on air. Golden chips and therefore not representative of the majority of parts out there.

    Any ideas on why scores increased in time when oc increased

    It's a single threaded app, and BL has his affinity set to core0 I believe, if the core throttled, or failed his run would have aborted.

    Yeah, I thought so...hence the shrug at the end :p Something must be causing it however...

    Finally, as it is a single threaded app, why not then disable all cores but one and go for max OC to one core to get the best Super PI score?
