I Checked your Result again and i don't understand : CF-X just gave you 1200 Points more in 3D06 than one 4870X2 ??
Shouldn't TWO 4870X2 Cards give you al least 5000-7000 more points in 3D06 than Using One 4870X2 Card ??
Also How much Power this takes from PSU ??Or wall ?? (if you have VoltCraft please tell us) .

if 2 cards gave me 5K-7K more than 1 card it would be a WR.......hehehehe....
BUT 06 CFX score i made is very very bad.....
i expected around 31.2K - 31.5K....
i dont have any Volcraft sorry, but i`m quite curious to buy one and monitor the W..![]()

Seems people are getting beyond the learning curve on this platform. Very nice results.
Very nice benching and cpu! Nice to see a retail one for a change![]()
Thanx guys..........
with the Pooooower of Graaaaaayskull...........
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
dude you're freaking me out
are you benching on a cascade or SS here
great results
both dinos.........
the last update with 3-4 results were on cascade after 2-3 hours.....![]()
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
so your SS is almost as powerful as cascade
faints
i wish my rotary SS is as strong as that
guess it needs tuning and a better CPU![]()
oh no no no.........
we had terrible problems with OSes and these results were just to get an idea.....and to see if there is a cold bug/cold boot....
it`s just that my 965 was playing nice at my SS too (-45C load)...
i still have results i haven`t posted......f.e. Vantage cpu score ~30K....
i believe with a set of fresh XP/Server2008 and a weekend free we could do some good damage....![]()

Lol, I'll be happy if my SS holds at -26C when loaded up with this monster CPU... It's a bit too weak, tuned for high loads tho not cold temps (~280W)
mmmmmm it`s hot hot hot.........
in Vantage cpus the cascade dropped instantly to -88C.......
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
You recon it eats more than 280W at around 4,5Ghz? If so that would be bad... very bad indeed![]()
never measured the "hunger" of the cpu.....
but i guess somewhere over there....
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Yeah well I'll know soon if evap goes above -20C it won't hold
If only DFI would get their move on with releasing their X58 mobo.. you can't insulate any of the otehrs properly for 24/7 phase IMO.
it depends what you use for insulation....
with armaflex it`s very difficult....
with coal rubber it`s a piece of cake....
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Yeah I use armaflex.. coal rubber? Never even heard of that
Thing is, I really run 24/7 so my insulation has to be perfect. With just armaflex and neoprene gaskets, my insulation has been perfect for almost a year now (no grease on the CPU or socket) so I'd like to stick to that method![]()
this is what i`m talking about....

Lol nice
Where can I get that stuff? Does it go by the official name of "coal rubber"?
Easily removable? Thanks for pointing this out to me.
here in Greece i asked for rubber for coal......
in store with art stuff.....
easy to apply, easy to remove and not leaving the slightest evidence.......
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
*runs off to the arts supplier*![]()
You'll have better luck by asking for "kneaded eraser"![]()
