    @koda,

    I was very pleased to see that you had completed the updated version.

    However, I am having a different problem flashing my Striker Extreme with this version: When I select the 1801 BIOS and get to the DOS screen, 1801.bin is in the text box as I would expect, but the 'Please Select File' prompt just keeps flashing. Pressing Enter has no effect (I tried several times, waiting a minute or two between attempts), I also cannot change the file name, but I can Ctrl-Alt-Del to restart.

    Please advise as to what I may be doing wrong.

    Thank you for all your hard work making this application.

    P.S. This is the CD version.

    Well, I just flashed my striker extreme in 1801 with the v0.7 USB version (but it dosesn't matter).

    Looks like it depends on what chip (mine was a winbond one)

    Could you, please, tell me what is the model of bios chip (report all what you can read on it ... ) and what is on the screen during the flash (Winbond, STT, ST, Atmel, ...) ?

    @koda,

    Thank you for the prompt reply.

    I cannot see what is printed on the BIOS chip without removing my SB cooler, but here are some screenshots I took as I progressed through the flash attempt:

    The last screenshot is where pressing Enter does nothing.

    Do you know of another way to find out which BIOS chip I have, maybe software?

    I really appreciate your taking time to help me.

    Could you please make an attempt with an USB key

    I'm thinking about a CD version problem only ... to create the key, you can follow this : http://www.nokytech.net/kodakey/tuto...-creer-sa-cle/

    Oki it's french but you just add to follow all the screenshots ... so you have a chance to success without understanding any french word :d

    I will try to fix the CD version in case of USB version doing the job ...

    FYI, i just (2mn ago) downgrade my Striker Extreme from 1801 to 1603 with the USB one

    Edit :
    ok, i just found the bug ... it concerns only CD version (i know how to resolve it but it means that i need to maintain a different content for CD and USB ... that's really bad ... need to think about it :/)
    Can you try with an USB stick please ...

    Edit2 :
    Maybe you can try with only one hard drive connected & the DVD drive then boot CD ... it could really work with this configuration.

    I will try the USB method.

    As far as using one HDD, I have a RAID 0+1 array.

    Thanks again for your patience.

    @koda,

    Well, the good news is that the USB flash method worked perfectly.

    Congratulations on an excellent application!

    Thank you for all your efforts.

    Well, some users (Arctucas here & Litean on my forum) found that the new CD version don't flash the nvidia based boards (but USB version is fine).
    So i worked hard today on this method (again ), modified a bit, tested, tested & tested ... (USB & CD version) ... and it seems (at least) to work correctly.

    So new release with Update to 0.71 for USB version and complete v0.71 CD version.

    This v0.71 adds P5Q-Pro 1613 & Rampage Formula 0701 too (minor release for new bios)

    Download links
    USB Key version : v0.7
    CD Version (ISO) : v0.71

    Patch/Update links
    Current version : v0.71 (must be apply on v0.7)

    Well, feel free to report problems.

    Regards.
