    Xtreme WoW-ing.

Don't know if this was posted before but here's a news about a guy that takes WoW to next level. Or maybe his a Warcraft III fan, and plays WoW as it would play W3:

A lot have asked me, why create so many? The main reason is to invade Stormwind and Ironforge when they reach top level. I’m sure the Alliance will put up a big fight when that happens. We’ll see how it goes...

It costs me exactly $5711 in subscription costs per year with 36 accounts on the 6 month pay schedule. Not bad considering I’m looking at it like it’s a hobby and there are more expensive hobbies out there than World of Warcraft... When Wrath of the Lich King is released, I plan to be at the store when it opens and will purchase 36 copies of it. With tax, it should be about $1500 for all of them...
What can I say: I guess his lucky that Cars aren't his hobby, would be kinda difficult to drive 36 cars, all in the same time.

I'd use those accounts to farm some serious gold.. but then again I'd also write an app to farm the gold for me Will be sad when the day comes that you can make more money playing a vid game than working a dead end job.

If he levels up a new char per account every second month and sells each at 500$ thats 18000$ tax free every second month, so 9000$ per month.
then deduct cost of pc's, electricity, subscriptions and your down to a "normal" monthly income but still by far enough to live from it.

Seriously... why would you pay $5k+ for 6 months on 1 game?
Never played WoW, but this just seems ridiculous for a piece of software.
Even if you're filthy rich. Seems like wasted money that other can use to eat.
    Blizzard must be enjoying this.

What's with the trackball collection? Does it improve gaming in WoW?

There are approximately 400,000 workers, who's main income is world-of-warcraft farming. This is made possible by the difference in currencies and CPI's across the nations of the world. In other words, 90% of them are in China. $50 there aint what $50 is here. By playing wow, some can afford a far better life then being a teacher or even civil engineer.
I used to be a schizophrenic; but we're okay now.
