Yes. An i7 will stop a Q6600 in PPD, so it'd be worth it.

Should I buy that bad-ass dual suspension mountain bike or an i7 rig first?

Ya. I prefer PR girls TBH

Is there any point in keeping my unmodded Vapochill at all considering the new i7 gear is kinda hot? 180W max is the kill zone, and I'd get nearly as close clocks with water I reckon.

Because you could as well buy a new one. I don't think a simple compressor upgrade and re-gas would make it sufficiently powerful.

Did you know that Fudo's Nehalem TLB news is total BS?

I thought it was verified by Intel. It's probably BS from the point of view of being as serious as Barcelona/Agena - although no one has tested the patch to see if it degrades performance - at least AFAIK.

That depends on whether you've got something to do like me. I am wasting time right now. Time I should be spending in bed, actually.

Do you think 6hrs sleep/day is enough for me?

No. I'll be excited later when they've proven that they're worth being excited about.

5 hours a night over long term will probably add up. I personally sleep about 7-8 hours a day, and if I'm regularly getting less than that, I tend to get a bit cranky.

Is anyone else looking forwards to Lynnfield being released in a few months?

That depends on the size of the screws.

What are you "holding" with the screws?

Should I blue the case or leave it stock zinc finish?

Leave it Zinc. For chipset hold down's I used 4/40 x 1 1/2" from home depot for it. I don't know if the nylon will hold up in the long term.

    Do you believe in Santa?
