Slacked memory timings, and no card clocks aren't helping tho JC...

We would have to have the same system with a NW to compare Lobbys...

Uhm... To say the least? Those 3dm scores are unimpressive to say the least. PCMark is worthless IMO since it's not very accurate to what performance really is. Give me some compares to P4EE and P4C at those speeds too...
Take out your ex tonight... one bullet should do it.

I've effectively killed my sig because it is no longer accurate. Oh well!

still..a stock 3200+ A64 could get those lobby scores with no card clocks

It may be slacked timings but it is 1:1 , its still slower than 5:4 max timings but not a LOT slower...

I think it has to be the drivers and stuff tho...lobby likes cache, and Prescott has double the cache NW has.
Although in the reviews i have seen Prescott is barely ahead of NW in 2K1, what it makes up in lobby it seems to lose somewhere else

I think the P4EE will be the 3D champ for the intel camp for now

I always knew that, the EE is not going down easily, if at all in 3DM01.

Let not forget Macci's 3.2EE is top of 03 and only 400 or so points behind OPP. I'd say a 3.4EE would probably take top spot in 01.

looking how the EE he had overclocked way better than most others i dont think thats likely, he will prolly end up with the same clock on a 3.4EE.
And if he does get a few points over OPP, it wont help Intel when S939 adds between 1 and 2K points in 3D01

comparing CPUs in 3D03 is kinda rediculous, IMHO

Uh, macci used an 18x mult, which is more or less a 3.6EE

A 3.4EE with locked multiplier would hurt his score, not help.

True. It will take around 4.8GHz P4EE with 17x multi and 5:4 to match the current result..

Also as far as the MArk2001 goes my ES score is pretty much in par with OPPs FX51 as far as the 'system' scores go (car hi, lobbys). The difference there comes from card clocks. Also A64 platform performs just a tad better in Dragos when useing similar card speed. So if similar card clocks were used it would be 100Marks difference or so - which is next to nothing.
So Cascadecooled P4 3.6ES (well its actually 3.2ES with 12-28x multis available) is just as good as Cascadecooled retail FX51!

The 939 will pwn em all thou

still..a stock 3200+ A64 could get those lobby scores with no card clocks
147 lobby hi with 3200 at stock?? Or did you mean 'a 3200 overclocked with stock cooler..' ? :P

Nice Results FUGGER, comes to show its not a total crap CPU
I'm most likely upgrading this 3G@4.1G to some highspeed prescott. The 3G prescott is most likely the best choice. 15x300 5:4 might be just possible. The 'tray' model of 3G P4E costs about the same as retail 2.8 P4E.

hmm, either i saw it wrong, or ASUS are using kick ass timings at 200 FSB again

Fugger, some great scores. The 2.8 pe is quite better to the northwood, than williamette was to the p3. it seems. keep up the good work. This could mean that the P4E can potentially be very fast in the future.

Of course not... But you have to remember the Prescott is built to take the place of Northwood, not the P4EE.

The P4EE was released to the consumer market for one reason... The A64 was going to clean the house in every benchmark out there, and Intel did not have a core coming anywhere in the near future that could beat it.

Viola ! In comes the P4EE with its large amounts of cache costing large amounts of cash. Its out of reach of 99.9% of consumers, but it DOES give Intel a competitive high end CPU to tout scores with...

Rofl Rofl and i was actually thinking to get the prescott but now im just scrathin my head and wondering wtf went wrong. Even at 4.1ghz prescott only manages to get 22k points in 01 mark. NOw that is just brutal. My friends 2.4ghz A64 gets 22.5 points with a stock 9800 xt. I think we all know by now what cpu is the king of gaming, AMD all the way.
