Hi!
Can anyone show me picture of the chips under the SB.
I don't know if there are any other chips under the SB heatsink.
Thanks!

Additional Comment:
i found this pick over at another thread and they are doing some pretty heavy overclocking and using stock heat-sinks on the NB.. so is the water-block more for looks? it seems like it's not even necessary at all!

UNOFFICIAL Rampage II Extreme Thread
According to ASUS probe im getting 50-52C on the NB while moderate gaming. I got a small fan on it, so it might get higher without...but yah it does get hot. SB run a bit cooler from the ASUS Probe temps...average 43-46c.
I would probaly WC it if i could, But im retarded like that. Give it a week or two im sure something will pop up.
Hi!
I would like to offer a mosfet kit for (ASUS rampage II extreme) and (ASUS P6T Deluxe) to a volunteer that would test the blocks on the card if they fit.
I would prefer he is from EU so he gets the block ASAP. Please send me e-mail on info @ ekwaterblocks.com
Hope to hear from someone soon![]()

Gabe just confimed that the Swiftech NB block does fit the Rampage II Extreme.
His post is here at this URL on this forum...

I was hoping you'd see that quickly.![]()
P.S. I'm getting ready to format and install my OS on my new one. I should have ti up tonight sometime. I'm so tired I'm in sllllloooooowwwwww motion right now. I gotta be careful becasue i'm so wore out I don;t wanna mess anything up.
Man I've been doing the stupidest things lately cause of being tired lol. Last night half in a daze burned off a couple things & labeled them all the same as the first one lolol
If Swiftech NBmax fits then EK ASUS HP fits to as it is EK:s fusionblock for ASUS boards and if the NB dont really needs to be cooled then that block is just enough for me i think.
Anyone seen a backplate to go along with LGA1366 yet?

I know the feeling. Man, I'm burned out. I'm really wore out. It's always this way when you build these thingsd and get them going. I wish i could pop in one magic CD and all the software I wanted on the drive was there at one time. Unfortunately it don't work like that.
Aw, and I can't find stuff in Vista! UAC should be bannished from Windows! UAC BE GONE!![]()
Hello
if I understood, Waterblock (Swifteck) for Rampage Extreme x48 would be the same as for RII2 X58?
Is that Waterblock EK to RE X48 will go without problems on the RII2 X58?
no problem fixing?
thank you to you![]()
a picture found on this forum shows that there will 4 fixations on RIIE, HERE
so it should be good?
otherwise it will block good? (normally for RE x48)
EK-NB ASUS HP
if someone could confirm
thank you very much![]()
I'd say if the one fit for those board they all would.
The cross holes are the same as what Gabe said would fit so I'd try it if it were me.
I have spoken with Vincent and they are planning on mkaing blocks for the R2E. I am sending mine to him to make the blocks with. SHould be great when it is all done.

Hey, we just tested the blocks and both mosfets fit to the both boards.
The ASUS HP will not fit to the heatpipe system.
If you have perhaps "old" EK-NF4 rev1.1 block it will fit to the heatpipe system perfectly.
As for the replacement will be like this:
Northbridge Southbridge
REII NB/SB 5 (new SB block)
P6T Deluxe NB/SB 5 NB/SB ASUS 1
