talking drivers issues, you should try Linux Then you'll thank god Windows exists...hmm...or the industry working for MS ...almost exclusively.

The big question for me was weather or not this was the third party folks for being lazy or Microsoft for not releasing enough documentation. I've seen statements from both sides pointing fingers every direction about that.

exactly; that's what SPs have always been... Who would expect MS to implement new functions in a service pack...They're too greedy for that, and rather do that in a new OS to better sell it

One of the rare ppl who knows where most of the problems actually originate.
Sure MS left few bugs there, it's a massive software and you can't make it perfect. But still 3rd parties are the ones that cause most of the problems, be it hardware or softare related.

u mean like the intel and NV 6/7xx igps getting vista certified marking, or main stream pc makers not updating drivers affter a specific model isnt sold and not having normalized device ids
