It should have some markings on in, usually coloured bands (if it's big enough) and the colour of the item itself also makes a difference. Can you read them off/post a clear pic?

Page 48 (yes again 48) shows other pins, both bsel and bclk, so they're not the same. Page 25 has the bsel settings. So, which is correct?

I think bsel0 + uwire = 200, No clue if the data is correct. Too lazy to verify, looking for wire instead.

I played by using these pins. No POST whatsoever. Also tried 133Mhz and BSEL2, the theory was that that doesn't change a thing and should work either way. I'm doing something wrong![]()
I did, there are two pins missing in the corner, so orientation is rather easy. I've been insulating pins, which does give me a post, but no change. So either the insulation isn't working or the board simply won't run on a different FSB, which would be odd.
ALso had W1zzard look into the PLL, seems it can't be done via software.

Hopefully it works out Dave, seeing as that recent auction had that as the going price, so if anything you can use that to back yourself up
On a sidenote
Tho I realized afterwords that I accidentally had the shipping address set as my parent's house instead of here at college, but luckily it's Thanksgiving coming up this week, so I'm hoping it doesn't take too long getting across the border.
Anyone know some cheap single rank 2Gb modules that will work in my X6? Most likely faster rated modules as they seem cheaper. I already tried ECC modules (non-reg) I had lying around, didn't work![]()

For the guys with the Intel board... Have any of you actually tried taking out the read of the PCIe x8 slot so that it'll fit a x16 GPU?

Nice gear. All of it. Better question: is there even clearance behind the PCI-Express slot as to accommodate a full x16 length card on the Intel boards?

Nice job. How're those 40mm fans compared to the stock one(at low speed of course) that comes with the case? I might have to pick up some of them if they're better in terms of noise, although in my situation I don't have a video card to worry about, so I could get by with only a couple for the cpus.
That package that went to Jaco had 4 motherboards, 8 heatsinks, some TIM and a couple cpu's in it.. BIG box..![]()

I took Sammy down today, after having done a solid 50 days of uptime. I added another 120mm fan to the rear of my case, cleaned out the dust and started her back up again...
5 hours later (a few minutes ago) when closing the case I noticed I hadn't plugged the CPU fan back in
It turned out the CPUs had been running at 100C for a few hours... Damn
Anyways, the system was throttling like crazy trying to keep the temp down. With the CPU fan back in action and with the additional rear fan I'm now getting 40C load temps again while still having a fully silent system. Gotta love 5400RPM notebook SATA drives![]()
