The CPU is a CCB3F 0711VPNW, and 4144MHz is my maximum validation. My RAM's absolutely maxxed out, this DFI won't post at any settings with the vdimm at over 2.2v, hence running 2T as well. I'm going to flash back to a pre-Phenom BIOS sometime and try again.

It's this RAM, 600MHz C3 on (cooling and voltage withheld to save me from getting a beating from certain people ) so once it's running properly I should be able to run again at C3 1T. And before you ask if the RAM's dead, it's busy memtesting at 533MHz C4 1.8v (I always do it after a heavy bench session) so it's fine

Actually it means that the calculation is in fact invald. Doesn't matter if the calculation finished or not, there is an error in the calculation process.

I actually had a 4.000ghz run but it wasn't as fast and crashed while opening cpu-z. I miss the old ones, prior to the loading screen

gianni i tested some superpi 1m with my opteron 156 the last 2 days ... best time was 22.797 s with 3.7 ghz and lower ram frequency like your result on hwbot. but i have found one kit bh5 that could do 270 mhz with 3.7 volts. have to test it out with that opteron. problem is that this chip wont go higher in superpi than 3.7 ghz... i could boot with 14.5 x 256 mhz and that is also the maximum with super pi
but after board change the cpu wont do the old 3.7 ghz now it could only do 3.5 ghz but i dont know whats that ????

thats right
its hard to tweak the differnt memory sticks ( utt ch-5 and utt bh-5 ) with sub timings...its really hard to find out the best. the utt bh-5 did 5 mhz more than the utt ch-5 but i havent found yet the best configurations for the bh-5.

Problem is that I will have to modify my motherboard if I want to stabilize the vcore when going over 2.1v and in addition, it seems that it's quite hard to run the FSB as high as I can on air, which is at about 270MHz, whereas on LN2 I can only hit 262MHz.

Athlon XP-M? Doesn't it have unlocked multipliers?

Yes it has, but the bottleneck is the FSB. If I, for instance, raise the multiplier by 1, I need 150MHz more to achieve the same level of performance. So:

250x10 = 240x11 in Spi performance.

Not bad considering the RAM I was using :P

I had a 32m Pi at 282MHz 2-2-2-5-1T but the time stank (it needs 2x512MB).

I did something stupid :\ I took the chip out (still at -30'c) and put it into my CFX3200 (24/7 rig) and booted up on air cooling (with the CPU still cold). The left diagnostic LED read 8. and the right one was off. A few boots later I got 8.8. and eventually cycling between patterns and C1. Everything else is fine because I just tested it with my 3700+... I think the heating from -30'c to 30'c caused condensation or something My poor 3916MHz baby I'm leaving her to air for a few days and I'll try again.
