What about modding HR-03 plus to cool CPU
I have HR-03, but i dunno how to bend the heat pipes so they don't touch the mobo's mosfet heatsink ????

Can anyone make a guide how to bend heatpipes without f*ing them up?
I just do it by hand...
If you want a more technical way to do it you might have luck using some pipe to brace against or help apply force against a fixed item (bench vice or whatever is handy).

wow such nice ghetto mods!
i especially love the NB heatsinks on the HDD's
i was thingking about that...

Made this custom heatsink for my striker 2 extreme northbridge, the stock one sucks and gets really hot, i think its going to work well, will be testing this weekend.

got any differences in temps?
Yes there is quite a difference in temps, idle is about 37c, full load is in the 40s depends on what your running, so made a big difference. Stock i was hitting 60c +.

Hi all, that's my first post... i want to show you what one boring day and a 4830 with a Twin and a HR-03 gt can do...
Tell me what's do you think.
Pretty nice job you did there, what kinda temps you getting ?

Noctua U12P Push Pull
Idle 27; Full 30, max 32...
Amazing temp, aren't they?
Very nice job there Pardulo
Thanks a lot...
I hope to use another HR, maybe soldering both to have a unic heatsink.
Also, the temps are really good, here's a screen:
As can you see, the delta is about 3-4 degrees from idle to full.
