Finaly i could fully stabilize my OC. Q9550@3.77ghz - 444x8,5 @1,32vTT, @1,32v vcore and , full load and bios. (no vdrop). (0,695GTL on both)(Sken=normal, performance mode (optimized get me unstable).

BUT, it was hard becase i think my motherboard is overvolting the NB.

First i was trying to stabilize with more volts and later willing to try to reduce the voltage, because of that i was trying with 1,24v and up on NB (, and always instable.., everyone is using this or more on vnb, and i tought that i would have no problem with that..., but..

Finaly 444fsb with 1,2v only (0,64GTL), but 1,22v get me unstable... maybe the vnb is overvolting by a x amount over the bios setting, i will try to measure the vnb with a multimeter later, anyone knows the spot can give me a hint?

Another thing, 9800GX2 is pci-e sensitive? because with 101mhz on pci-e i get freezes on games, and with 105mhz i get no post. i have to set 100mhz only.

56c Full on highest core, and 51 on lowest, with a 30c ambient temp.
while OCCTing and priming, its an ok temp for a custom handmade watercooler, right? i will change my WBlock soon.

Yeah see told you the cme option will screw things up.. Glad to hear you have it stableized though. With the NBv thing, it figure that was a facter to because if I set mine above 1.30v my system will act sporactic as well. I think like some one has said the QC has just gone down the tubes and everything is acting different for every one because of this. I have seen people in here pushing 1.4v to the nb, I can't do that..

I'd like to see a fix for my HDDs disappearing when resuming from sleep

Not sure why it happens, since if i reboot, it's fine.

But at least one disappears when i resume from sleep...

Why i can't put this darn thing into hibernation (Vista x64). Goes to hibernation and shuts down. And then starts up again right away. Wtf!?
I tried changing power state memory to always off and boots up again. Standby mode is set to auto, repost video on S3 is enabled and i also have ACPI and that other thingie enabled (+ Green Star something on submenu). It's annoying and i can't use it properly.

    Hi guys

I have had the P5Q Deluxe for å few days now and there is something bothering me with this board.
Voltage values for VTT ,SB chipset, NB chipset and VDIMM are not showing in newest Everest Ultimate Edition (v4.60.1500).
Or in the BIOS for that matter. I can set the voltage values, but not see the result real time.

Why is this? Something Asus decided for the P5Q series or bug in BIOS? (I have the 1406 BIOS)
Do you guys have the same 'problem' as me?

It's not foreseen to have readouts, only the maximus formula II has it...
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

My Q9550 running @ stock is getting really hot, it reaches 62C after 10min of Orthos small FFTs, and this is with an ultra-120 extreme :s

And the motherboard is at 48C according to everest.

If your CPU vcore is on auto then its likely overvolting.

    I put vcore on 1.2

and the other voltages one notch above standard, except vdimm, so that they won't overvolt.

Motherboard temps for these boards do seem very prone to increasing - I never did figure out where the sensor is, but I added a couple extra intake fans that now blow onto the southbridge and that seems to keep the MB temp way down.

Its not like airflow was lacking before then, I would have thought the 200mm side fan sitting right over the board would have been enough... The SB does sit under the GFX card tho, so maybe thats why.

Anywho - maybe you need more air in there.

Does anyone know if you can put your single graphics card in any of the pcie slots and still get 16x. The reason I ask is because I have a two slot card and a auzentech soundcard. The ideal place for the soundcard is in the top pci slot so it doesn't block the graphics card's fan. The only problem with this is they share the same IRQ and i keep getting small crashes every so often. I haven't tried the bios for setting IRQs manually.
