    Pics of ICs.

    http://www.legionhardware.com/document.php?id=779&p=1

    But what are they?

No labels, but they are not the normal shape of ProMOS or PSC, which i expected these to be.

They look like the newer Micron actually...anyone care to make a guess?

Nice find -n7-!!! Man I'm so tempted to buy the DDR2-1000 CAS4 model, I wonder how far those can go. But damn it sells at Newegg for $200!!!

I guess G.Skill used High standard industrial Thermal tape on the PI, hahaha the IC just came off! LOL!

I've had these sticks for a week and a half or so. Havn't really pushed them but they run at cas 4 1.8 volts no problem.

A good high performance low power solution.

It's always nice when you stick in some chips on your board, and realize that they require less volts for cas 4 then your board offers. (DFI 790gx Lanparty Jr.)

That and they are visually appealing.

I absolutely DETEST those heatspreaders, their far too tall. Just use a honeycomb HS FFS, it'll work better than trapping the ICs under a thick lump of metal

Has anyone tried this stuff out? I would love to see some results with this ram. For $100 at newegg I could pick up 8gb. My 2x2gb ocz reapers are running 1100mhz at 2.1v and cant do much more. I want to see if these could do much better.

I want to see if these could do much better.
Just picked up a kit and liked them enough to grab another at only $50 for a 4 GB kit.
Currently running them at 900MHz 4-4-4-12 w/ 2.0v on a Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P. I have successfully run them at 960MHz 4-4-4-12 w/ 2.16v on same board. Have been totally unsuccessful at 1066MHz with any timings or voltage.
Miravo, where did you get the info that these are Qimondo? G.Skill won't budge to say what they are and pulling the heatspreaders reveals blank IC's. I'd like to know the source of your info.

I just discovered these today; 4GB of DDR900 CL4 for £60 is cheap.

However my ReaperX 4GK (not the craptastic 9200s in my sig) can do close to 890MHz 4-4-3 so I'd hope for at least 950 4-4-4 from the Gskill kit, but it doesn't look promising.

Just got em for Christmas love how they run at low voltages.

These may not run over 1000 easily but it does run the lower frequencies very nicely at lower voltages (less prone to dying, replaced my D9GMH 2x already ).

I got my stick yesterday, currently running DDR2-850 4-4-4-8 at 1.92v, Its quite hard to clock this anything more then 900. No matter how much Volts you feed it, Although I haven't tried above 2.1v. This RAM like tight timings .

will these be able to hit 1200mhz for 24/7? are these basically the same as the F2-7200CL4D-4GBPI-B that are just factory OCed?

Yes they're the same. The DDR900's were just tested to be working at 450 mhz and 2.1v. YMMV but some people on newegg got the 400 mhz ones up to 1066 mhz at 5-5-5-18 or 5-6-something. You definitely WON'T hit 1200 with these but whether or not you will hit 1000+....well....just buy a set and hope for the best.....
