I've got some old D9GMH... I'm not very experienced overclocking RAM though. Maybe I'll give it a shot for kicks.

    Thats a joke right . ?
1:2 ratio means memory is 2 times the speed of the fsb
if your fsb is 333 then ram is 666 1:2

I just dont want somebody to get confused.

Correct, so since you can change the FSB at 1mhz intervals, 333FSb-334FSB, you impact memory mhz in 2mhz intervals.

Heh.... I don't think I'll be able to practically double the speed of my memory, 900MHz it is fine at but I don't think it can even do 1000MHz stable

I have three sets of Gkx and two gmh, what i lack is a memory freindly motherboard for ddr2.
My Commando dont like over 600 on memory, no matter cas and volt.
But verry sure i will buy one of the three boards thats allowed in the competition.
What chip is superior to high cas, and Hz, gmh or gkx, time will tell.
My guess for a winner brand would be Team or crucial.

i just got 2 new kits of D9GMH and one new kit of D9GKX. I'm willing to enter but i'm a little unsure since i never did something like this.

i know what 1:2 ratios means but why only 1:2?

does the cas level makes a difference? Must it be 5-5-5-18 or can we use whateva achieves stability or is at least fit for validation.

I only have to validate via CPUZ? So i don't need to run a benchmark like super pi to show of a glimce of stability?

Sorry i'm german and really old.

And yeah is there a thread from fugger of vapor about there record where i can read a little how they achieved it, cause i can't find it even though i googled.

    more bandwidth ...
