Bh-6???

Like most ppl these days I am having alot of difficulty getting my gruby little hands on some Bh-5 chips. In a few spots (this forum, mushkins, site as well as another forum) I have seen people speak of this BH-6. So whats the good word on it? I have to get some good ram for my A64 and Idk where to go since Kingston Discontinued it's non a sticks. My wallet stops @ about

Mushkin now has "Special 222" which is BH-6, but it seems sketchy.

BH-6 chips are older than BH-5.

I prefer BH-6 because they stretch higher at high voltages. But BH-5 are easier to clock. If you don't pity your RAM, BH-6 will be good for you.

I've got 2 Mushkin BH-6 Pc3200 special modules for a friend and they are doing great. About this 'ultra' memory though, I don't know, I never HEARD of it or it's company in Europe neither of ANYONE using it.

Ahhh well thank you very very much for the info, I wasn't aware of this. I will fall back on the BH-6 if my plans of getting non a KHX from zipzoomfly fail on monday.

I was also recommended to get KHX 3000? b/c it will be BH-5/6 or should i not take such a gamble with that.

HyperX Pc3000 is most usually BH-6 and yes, it is a good buy.

Ok, well thx again. I will try out the KHX 3000 from zip zoomfly rated @ 2-2-2-6-1. I hope this will amage what I am looking for...

225+ maybe 230 =/ all I can give it is 3V... kinda nervous to raise my 3.3V above 3.4 for 24/7 use

Before I order the KHX 3000 tom anyone ahve any other words of wisdom to say? . I have extremely bad luck with memory lately...

From getting a bad stick of 3200 512MB dimm of BLII Mushkin to ordering KHX non a 3200 kit 2-2-2-6-1 and having it get discontinued 5 hrs after my order.

are you guys sure that the hyper x pc3000 is bh-6?
mine can do 220@2.9v on my rda wich slightly undervolts....

I was told it is a mix BH5/BH-6 and in some rare cases Ch-5 i guess. I just hope my luck turns around just this one time.

what she said. BH-6 are older but clock nicely at high volts. The safest bet would be to find some old XMS3500 rev 1.1 with black heatspreadders.

Oooh, nice info, I can pick up the HyperX PC-3000 for pennies over here in 1Gb kits, if it's probably BH-6 I might just pick some up, cheers Grace.

what chips is khx3000 using?
some say bh-5 , some say bh-6, some say ch-5

Yeah, I don't know how much help it'll be, but I can get hold of the stuff for £150, which I can easily sell it on for if it's not so my satisfaction, now I just need the cash.

Have you looked at NewEgg.com? There is some Mushkin Level 2's left. Unfortunately they are only the 2700's and 3500's the rest are gone. But they both rock and have BH-5's. But hurry they are going up in price $3-5 per day as stock runs out.
