    I use my rig for:
    -surfing
    -programming
    -gaming
    -downloading
    -maybe a bit of photoshoping

    I want best performance/watt.

Should i go with e85 or not?

Programming? Unless you're doing a lot of it, nothing you're using your rig for is particularly multi-core optimised. You'll get better perceived performance/watt from a Wolfdale.
