64 bit overclocking is not that bad running my rig crunching Boinc 24/7.
    CPU at 3415MHz @ 1.47v with NB at 2484MHz @ 1.45v and 8GB of ram at DDR2 551MHz 5-5-5-16 @ 2.16v.
The system has been rock stable had it running for 5days straight before I has to restart it (stupid windows updates) without a single error (Except Fallout 3 Crashing, but thats a different story)

Ok I got a quick question. Whats the max temp allowed for the 9950 (140w version) and whats the max allowed voltage?

I saw try to keep the temps no more than 55ºc under full load and voltage under 1.5v. However I have ran 1.63v for a bit and its still alive. Temps higher than 55ºc I just dont feel comfortable.

Max Temp 64°C for 140 watt
    and 70C for 125 watt

huh that is some weird tempos from AMD seeing as 125 9850 is 66C and 9550 is 72C.

    at 3.2 GHz?

Thats exactly what I am running on min, actually a bit less only. 3.2 GHz, ACC on auto, 1.424v.

My idle temps right now are about 26-27ºc that my room is colder. But on the hotter days my full load temps are like 38-41ºc. I am on water though. You got some mighty good temps though.

Mine does somthing wierd tho. When its at 100% load the voltages go up to 1.45. I dont really understand that. Its almost like intels load line calabration imo.

    mine goes up to 1.44v.

I think it has to do with ACC.

Highest 24/7 range I can get with low budget rad I have
I gave up jacking up the HTT speed, there was less than 1% difference running at 2400 or 1800
I keep it at around 2000 now, made OC'ing easier, I don't have to raise HT volts much to keep it stable

I noticed at 3.5 the cores speeds started to fluctuate quite a bit under full load, I enabled ACC(+2) and the cores settle down(less jumpy)
it took longer before it crashed
Next time I go benching I'll see if ACC really helps

    Hey all!

Hey guys and gals I am new to this site and I must say this is the thread that got me interested. I have been following up and listening to everything you guys have been saying. Staying quiet just paying attention, but I have ran into a slight issues and I was hoping that you can help me out. I can get my computer stable at 3.23mhz at a ht ref clock of 240 13.5 on the cpu mulitpier and only putting 1.33v to the cpu its self. how ever i cant not go past that with the ACC off. When I turn it on sometimes the computer wont even turn on for more than 5 seconds. If you have ever had a faulty power supply, its acting exactly like that. But with ACC off it will boot up everytime, so Im pretty sure that it cant be a faulty Power supply. Has anyone else had this issue with turning on the acc? I have tried +4 +8 and auto, all the same results, half the time it will start up and boot, the other half it will just turn on for a few seconds then shut down entirely until I un-plug the computer for the ups. Any help would be great, Im almost positive i could get this thing to 3.4 with no problems with the acc on. Thanks in advance!

Some processors do not like ACC, since there has never been an adequate explanation as to what ACC really does no one is certian why.

That being said I would honestly hold off on getting 3.4 alot of these mobos MOSFETs simply wont handle the high speed without active cooling on them, and alot of people have actually blown their mobos out as a result.

Likely the issues you are having are indeed power related but not as a result of your powersupply but your mobo itself.

Also on a side note I got rid of my 9950, it was fun but not worth the money especially when in about 4 weeks I'll have a new Deneb to play with. So Ill use this $30 X2 4400 for now lol

I'm waiting patiently my self too but I'll stick with my 9850. only other CPU I got is a sempron Le 1150.

side note is X55 boards have huge Power phase setup probably the TDP over clocks but then I looked a few older boards they have more phases or digital ones.

it seem all AMD boards have far less
