we're not gonna shuffle members Sky...
week1 columns are complete.. if I shuffle the scorecard up now,
it's gonna make it too difficult for the old geezer scorekeep ref (me)..
the only ones I could shuffle would be the late adds who have 0 in week1 column.

I was joking with Mak about reassignment...

fellas, I can't tell from reading the thread. are there people getting discouraged and quitting on account of too much points influx onto one team? I can't tell if its serious or just steam.

Honestly, I'm happy to drop back out after this week's tally if it'll keep things on an even keel. my output will not be related to the contest at all.

That's a tough one to answer. I know I wrote about certain limitations in the first race. I was sure I wrote about them in this thread as well. My first look didn't include a quote I thought I would find.

I'll post a screenie of fahmon tomorrow night at midnight. My predictions? I'll put up 2 million plus in the first 22 days and hopefully find myself in the top 5 by the end. Muahahahahaha!!!
I know I was thinking about sucking fumes the last week when I wrote it. I suspect an unwillingness to admit weakness I knew was there on my part. I'd have to go through 30 pages of posts to find what I think was in this thread.

To answer the question more directly... Mike related numbers that indicated Whiskey, with current recruits are putting up more points than Foxtrot and Tango combined. That kind of says it all. Contest over. Whiskey won. Neither Foxtrot or Tango have had any new recruits and only one member on each squad has parts coming. If this assessment is wrong, hopefully someone else will correct it.

@angra As far as I'm concerned in is in.

I thought the whole idea behind the "Race" was to increase the Team (36362) output and have a little fun doing it. Thats what I'm in it for. Well that and stealing a little bit Daks pie.

Foxtrot lost 20k PPD a-la me not being able to upload WU's. Sorry guys!

I know that wouldn't have made a huge difference but I still feel bad.

Give a jar of jam to someone and he will sit down and eat it.
Promise him a jar of jam tommorow , and he will work for it forever.

That was the purpouse of the race. To have a foggy vision of a "goal" that's behind the mist clouds ...
To push as much PPD as possible and yet still have fun.

WFO From one point of view I completly understand, the amout of $ you have to pay for the bill is horrible, never could happend here ...
Yet still to give up in the contest that's not for us but for those that need the folded proteins ...

Yes I know it's a bit fishy that whisky team has nearly the same amount of folders than Foxtwat and Mango together ...

But is it really at the end importaint ?
I contribute to Whisky only by a tiny amount , you are the protein milkshake black hole !
You're the one that should recieve ancient greek/roman olive anadem , everyone knows it

At the end ... we're a team contributing together as 36362 ... not as sole people , we did a competition between us to have "fun" but at the end
it's just up a beefed up production to be rough ...

If you wish to stop folding because of the bill , it's normal , ofc it is ... one day of your folding = my entire career ... there is nothing shamefull on that don't feel bad ...
I'm glad that people with or without reasons fold ... remember , it's not for us , or for whomever has the biggest e-peen

It's for those that will one day beneft from the sweat from our CPU's GPU's

bobs: Mike, you see, what we're actually trying to do here is, we're trying to get a feel for how people spend their day at work... so, if you would, would you walk us through a typical day, for you?

    Mike: Yeah.

    WFO: Great.

Mike: Well, I generally come in at least fifteen minutes late, ah, I use the side door - that way dak can't see me, heh heh - and, uh, after that I just sorta space out for about an hour. After my 3rd cup of coffee I bear down and do the F@H Halloween charts.

    WFO: Da-uh? Space out?

Mike: Yeah, I just stare at my desk; but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch, too. I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work.

WFO: I'd like to move us right along to ThunderDuck. Now we had a chance to meet this young man, and boy that's just a straight shooter with upper management written all over him.

ThunderDuck: Good evening Dak, my name is ThunderDuck. I come from a rough area. I used to be addicted to F@H but now I am off it and trying to stay clean. That is why I am selling my GPU's off.

Malcontent: WFO, we get caught uploading a virus, we're not going to white-collar resort prison. No, no, no. We're going to federal POUND ME IN THE BUTT prison.

WFO: I don't want to go to ANY prison!

Mike: I guess I'll talk to dak & see if I can convince him to drop the charges, look away this one time. WFO, now would be a good time for you to get him all enthused about the New Egg clinic

WFO: Great Mike, that is a good idea, I call Malcontent and get him to present this with me... BTW, Can I go in da basement and chat with one of your Referee Tarts.

Mike: Good idea, minimize the stress factor 1st...

Rain, sleet, or snow... the race must go on and with it the never ending duties of the ref... (even if he did drag one of his ref tarts home last night and had 2 hrs sleep).

give me about 30 minutes, I just slid thru the side door about 5 minutes ago.

btw: no quitting allowed. if anyone quits, then I will send dak and skycrane to their house every morning after they leave mine with their trash canlids... you should see those 2 dancing around outside my window every morning clanging trash can lids, blowing whistles and throwing firecrackers at my window.. believe me it's not pretty at 5am half asleep.

I'll soon have my crippled 9600GSO on a new system, team whiskey FTW!

PS: What team are you on Dak? Whiskey aint too far from vodka.

Of course one tastes like fermented oak and the other doesn't, But that's not important.

THIS is just a teaser post for Dak, so when he checks the board from work, he'll get thirsty and want to knock off early..
