I have to say this Holloween race is Xtreme in every sense of the word!!! : We have a regular global nuclear arms race going on. Dak has secret weapons coming as do I, skycrane, RR and I'm sure a few others.

I just put in for 3 days off Wed. through Friday to do some building and rig tending. It's gettin' hot in here. 1,100,000K ppd?

You're guys room temps only go up by just those few degrees? In winter when the thermostat is set to 65F or so my room is into the 80's with my comps.

Most rigs I had runing, that was in my FM days even while they were lower end systems ( sempron 2800, venice3200, banias lappy, p4 2.4c ) they were in one room and in summer that got blazing hot already.

surely any farm they have is impressive, IMO. but in terms of PPD, nitteo is in a league of his own when that thing is up and running. he pushes 220kPPD before the GPU boost! i don't think he's had it running since he got hit by hurricane Ike and lost half his office building.

Mine struggles to maintain a 5f difference because a fan is constantly circulating/venting that room air into a hallway.. but it's still not enough to keep up... btw, what's your address, Cat... I need to make a midnight run to the "5 finger dollar depot" and pick up a monitor. lol

I did hear about the hurricane issue, even if my memory is comparable to a 90y old with alzheimer. I feel for him, and I remember also experiencing it as a great los for the folding community to loose him.

But.. WFO is 18th today on the top producers list, that's impressive enough for me. Guess I just wanted to encourage him, RR, Dak1640, Angra ( most of them are in his lab I think so he can't show us ) ect to show us their farms, as encouragement for the rest

Every team I been in had their 'show off your farm' thread, so do we, but it's been abit quiet there

Uh oh. I'll actually take some pics of my machines when I get them all back together. Guess I'll have to go searching for that thread myself then. I mean I only have 2 folding rigs, and 1 of them has a motherboard on RMA and I'm still waiting for a couple of 8800gs' and a molex-pcie power adapter from sniperbob helping out a fellow folder. +1 props for him. I can't wait for all this stuff to come together. I'll be up to about 30-40kppd from just those 2 machines. I couldn't even imagine having the kind of setup nitteo had, thats just amazing. Stoopid hurricanes. Does he need any help getting those machines back up? Is there anything we can do on here to help him?

unless you want to. i could easily get another board and cpu for it. im just not sure if i would trust this rosewill psu to run those. its up to you though....
