I use eraser and thats it, no insulation anywhere else except around the pots, I dont even tape up the socket and caps, I just lather that eraser right in that, I love it.

I do like that stuff, so easy to pull it off and yeah no sweating but i use a fan after a day-long test...

Here's my insulated P5Q-E. Using Tekastrip rubber. You can find it in every (house)painter shop and it's cheap and very good. I was using one layer of neoprene on rubber while benching

How to cut.. neoprene to put benhind solid capacitors and voltage regulator...?

How well will this stuff work on a Phase change unit running 24/7?
By the way.... plastiline could be electric conductive? mmm i don't think so.... here it's hard to find eraser... soft, easy to modelate :p.... elastic.... so.. i'm thinkin in plastiline....

The same thing as Faber Castell rubber. It's reusable of course and easy to remove. If you have a lot of condensation it'll keep it on the top without problems and it'll not become wet.
I think that SXT use same insulation, Slovenians too (because Tekastrip is Slovenian firm).
I payed 3m (20x2mm) only 3$ and have material for insulate whole board two times (2x duble layer insulation).
Soon, I'll make some DICE session and post new pics of insulation (this time, one DFI board)
I've been trying the plastiline.... but i don't know really if it will possible.

I need to add armaflex both side of socket... into retencion system of cpu... yet...
Then complete...
What do you think? could be possible? of course i don't want to kill the mother board.. thinking i will use it for benchs...

just found this for the UK DICE/LN2 benchers on ebay. 10 of those will be enough and wil set you back £13.50

used this for benching R2E + 965. Just eraser, neoprene, and shop rags baby. Back to air in like, 5 minutes it was great. I'll post pr0n next time; it was so fast i didn't stop to take pics.

Bullet92, yes I know. Next week I'll get a "golden" 631, which should do 7,2+GHz![]()

Very good method for insulation
We tested it first time in Georgia on my mobo and rubber did well, but hand-made DI pot suX, only 5753Mhz on Celeron D347.
