Btw I thought the new nvidia x2 would be the 260x2 not the 280 due to tdp issues? Not following closely, out of my budget anyway but aren't those suckers way to hot/require way to much power?

Well some preliminary, old and very questionable numbers indicate by the double amount of everything a GTX280 has, that it might be a cherrypicked low power version of of the fully funtional g200 core. There won't be any GDDR5 because it's unlikely that there will be a memory controller revamp, and of course, this is old news. So if you can cherry pick, why not take real g200 core? But this would also mean that the GTX350, or whatever it's name will be, is going to be expensive either for us or for nV.The bliss of having few clients is also having fewer issues..
