Me thinks a wider screen may be necessary soon to see the full graph...Hmmm; what would those graphs look like if you removed the top 4 producers?

tomorrow's graph will be week1 final user graph, then it will only be in the spreadsheet.
Monday's user graph will start a new week, it will be week 2 only... (you'll see the dates on the user graph as Nov 2 - Nov 3,4,5,6 EOC 3AM EOC, etc...).
same with week, 3 and 4.
Team totals will continue to be the entire comp time period.
reason I wont be putting all 4 weeks in the user graph...
1. totals would stretch the hell out of like you mentioned.
2. if I chart 4 weeks for each user, it's gonna have too many bars in it.
(right now it has 37 bars=37users, if we have one for each week then it would have 37x4=148 bars TOOMANY)
so the user chart will always be the current week only...
at the end of the comp I'll do a new spreadsheet that totals total user production for the entire comp... one bar for each user, what they turned in for the whole comp period.
Sounds to be a brilliant plan Mike![]()

Yeah definetly because otherwise Whiskey would turn out to be a pixel wide compared to the others![]()
Dak you're our high roller, all our base belong to you I mean all our hopes are with you![]()
We are ALL high rollers, some just have a higher production output![]()

You know what I mean, think the rest of us could minimize the damage if only one of us could match WFO
WFO imo stands for ( Watch the F Out ) lol![]()
now that I think about the final graph for when the comp is over.
actually I might do one user graph per team.. then each user can have 4 bars, one for each week. each team it's own graph...
that would be much easier to chart than a user total comp graph, because I can use the existing spreadsheet...
so the graphs would be...
1. Teams weekly totals and final total. (to chart which team won each week, and which team won overall)
2. Whiskey User weekly totals (4 bars for each user corresponding to the week).
3. Tango User weekly totals (4 bars for each user corresponding to the week).
4. Foxtrot User weekly totals (4 bars for each user corresponding to the week).
if I do it this way, then I dont have to invert the user spreadsheet and subtotal all the users. makes it easier for me.. plus it won't stretch the bars way out.
Life couldn't get much better than this...Mike taught me how to attach a pic to a PM this morning...After 3 years of being a forum member.
Anti-Penalty for MikeB12...He gets 100K ppd added to his score today.
So sorry WFO, Mike will get Cherry Pie today

I can't believe you just admitted that in public. LMAO!![]()
Omg... Mike want to let me in to
Btw, I just got a legal copy off... MS expression web.... maybe next contest we can set up some dynamic graphs ( I know what I said.. forget about it if you can.. don't think I was myself) Though the log parser and the setup util have preference.. I am still waiting for a definitive answer from VP, though he might be waiting if I can get that eue parser bug free first

Wow don't let Synth see you're gaining strength he might decide it's time to show what a super sayan can really do![]()
I put out almost 20K ppd yesterday. I'm cruising for now.![]()

I can't believe how close this is after a week. The graph looks bad but 1 secret weapon and Whiskey would be right back in it.

The graph is abit misleading but the gap is pretty big already
Thanks for trying to cheer us up though

Wonderful, because my clients are behaving exceptionally well lately, I don't even loose WUs when rebooting with them. Thanks PG! I thought I was forced to "update" soon. Really the only thing that was going wrong lately is GPU folding, SMP folding is really stable for me atm. I feel I need to point this out bc lately we only had reason to bash PG for their GPU WU and server problems.

open office only charts the #value range so it's easier to SEE differences.. but that means most of the low numbers on the graph extend off the left hand part of your monitor...
I can add a baseline 0 (ZERO) team so open office thinks it has to chart the entire #number value range.. bad thing is you cant see the small difference...
here's one with a baseline and one the normal way.. yall can pick... doesn't matter to me. one has a new team called "baseline" that always scores 0 zero. and the other is just the 3 teams on the comp.
Same numbers, just charted differently.. they both have their good and bad points..
but remember the longer the comp gets the less difference you see bt the teams, because office is charting more and more values each day...
we're only in week1 and it's at 1.4million.. what would the scale on that chart be at 4 million. so if it's done the zero way, then the scale gets to a point where a 50k points difference is a very small difference in the bars. you might not even be avle to see it by week 4.

Even while it makes us Whiskey look bad, I do think the bottom graph is the right one to use.. Top one makes me feel better lol, but I think the bottom is more inspirational to other two teams as the diffrence between them is easier to judge/spot or however you want to put it.

just remember as that comp moves forward, we may not be able to tell the difference by looking at the bars.. beacue the chart will be charting 0-4 million or whatever. right now it's only charting 1.4 million, so it's still easy to see the 7ok difference.. but it might not be so easy at 4 or 5 million. they may all look equal...
I'll do some with a baseline for a couple days, then as we go forward.. we may have to go back to the old method to see the difference on the screen in bar chart colors. of couse if no one cares and just looks at the numbers anyway, then we can keep the baseline in..
they both have pros and cons..
