Pretty sure GM rads use plastic, they crack at the fittings. You can thank the bean counters at the GM for that

May I ask how many 480's do you have and care to post a pic???

    FYI, my PA120.3's are next to my Pedestal 24, that is 24" (l) x 18" (w) x 9" (h)....

Hateful words there big guy. You doubt my integrity . I own two 480's does that make me any less if I owned 5? Take it to PM and we can discuss how much waterfront property I own, and you?

Keep it civil it was not meant in anger, I thort they look small compared to a 480.

    Plastic tanks with aluminum cores.

As for the paint on the TC rads...Who talks badly of it ? You want as thin a layer of paint as you can get away with for heat transfer.

What cracks me up is the endless loop tape recording of ThermoChill bashers is always complaints about the paint... I'd personally much rather have a rad that is built like a brick house with a "poor" paint job, than a flimsy rad that has a "pretty" paint job... I can always easily repaint my rad, but you can't easily improve the structural integrity of a rad.

BTW, a bridge being built to flex has nothing in common with a radiator that is flimsy and flex's. You design bridges, but remember I work for a company that builds TXDOT bridges... My GMC pickup's radiator doesn't flex...
Never. I just want to see them in the case, I'm incredibly impatient I know.

That is awesome, I'm just looking forward to seeing them installed...

I have one of each (TFC and TC), I like them both. In all honesty, they are pretty much the same, similar enough performance that most people would have a hard time telling the differences there. I really don't have a strong preference either way, I only like the TFC because of the quad sizing. Both have their little quirks. The paint, barbs, and no screw threading on the TC and the M3 screws on the TFC. I wish they both had a HWlabs paint quality, M4 threaded screws, and G1/4 barbs. They could both use some minor tweaks. Neither one come close in performance/price ratio of the lower cost rads though.

You still have not shown me anything that presents some sort of failure in structural integrity. It's very basic strength of materials. You don't design anything for failure, you design for acceptable means of stresses. More than that is wasteful in materials.

Kindly show me how pushing in the sides of the radiator somehow is structurally deficient. Keep in mind the same thing happens with HWlabs, MCR, and just about every radiator out there. I don't understand where it would matter?

Squeezing the sides of the radiator is no different than pushing your thumb on the door panel of your GMC truck. It moves.......so are you driving a flimsy truck?

No, it doesn't matter. It's an appropriate design and materials working within acceptable stresses, it has nothing to do with your truck somehow being structurally deficient.

    That's all I'm saying, and I don't design bridges...I'm just a roadway guy...

Before you have the audacity to call me a child, make sure you were born in the 1930s or 1940s. For crying out loud, make sure you were at least a high school graduate when JFK was shot.

wow leave the scene for a year and a half and look what happens... I have been fussing over what to do for my liquid the whole time as straight distilled wtih pt nuke is too boring (had decided on distilled+pentosin+pt nuke+g-tek die though i couldn't decide on color) and now have decided to try out that Feser Black/UV blue water replacement.

And from my perspective on the rads the Feser seem to be more availible and aprox. the same cost as TC. Just waiting for NCIX to get the 120.4 availible and I think that will be my next rad
