    My advice would be similar to what everyone's given, but the tools I'm happiest with is my Dremel, it's a brilliant piece of kit and I'd recommend it for anyone! The other is my cordless drill, it's very useful I do use my normal drill for somethings but the cordless is the one I use the most. They were worth the money and it feels good when you can look back and see what you've done, it makes the case yours rather than someone elses creation.

    As everyone has said, wear eye protection! Try not to scratch them as it gets annoying and that's when you take them off and get a piece of metal in your eye.

    4) Realize that you will get frustrated at some time. Working mad is almost a guaranteed way to screw up something, take a step back and breathe.
