You can go here to find your stats just search for your name here->http://folding.extremeoverclocking.c...php?s=&t=36362
To change your team go to configure if you're using the system tray. Happy folding and Welcome to the team!!!

thanks for the great welcomes guys... got my 4870 up and folding also.... running it overclocked of course will fold faster correct??

i was thinking about putting the cpu at 5.2ghz and the 4870 at 850/1200

how will taht affect popint produced??

also if you dony mind how do i get the infobar in my sig?

Can you fold at those speeds? Wow I don't think anyone will be able to answer your ppd question, you're the only one I know capable of >5ghz You let US know how that handles itself

Oc'd gpu will do better, I don't have an Ati card though so idk what clocks to recommend to try. Vid memory doesn't seem to have any influence though.

http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/?nav=IMAGES <- explains the stats images

    Code:
    http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/sigs/sigimage.php?un=punx223&t=36362
that should be the sig image link but you're not listed yet Your folding name is punx223?

You can use fahmon to monitor your clients

    And again

For ATI cards the core is what you want to bump up. The ATI shaders are linked to core speeds.

5GHz for folding??? Is that gonna be stable? If so, just wooooow.............

I'm still waiting on the first XS'er who completes a gpu2 wu with phase clocks or even dice/ln2

yeah on my phase im stable enough at about 5.15-5.2ghz to fold

that will be at less than 1.6 vcore and at approx -31C loaded

but ill test it to see how she does...

not to mention that 5.1ghz should give teh cards a nice lil bump in throughput also... so the gpu should hopefully in thery fold faster

that would suck lol... you know how hard it is to keep pouring on 3+ ln2 pots...

    i just recently poured for a friend benching 2xgtx280's on ln2 and a qx9650 at 5.5ghz

trying to keep approx within 3deg C during runs is a PITA bigtime lol..

so running a constant folding app having to pour the whole time can be a lesson in patience... not to mention lets hope you have a dewar within reach

    Alrighty, make it phase then

Frame time about a minute should be workable with low temps, makes it just 100minutes of pouring ln2 or refilling dice. I read about those oc sessions lasting MUCH longer then that ( don't think it's under constant load though )

Soo... when do you plan on putting the pc on the gpu instead

not a bad idea... 4870 at-30 to -34 loaded.... that could be cool....

not to mention 900+ gpu clocks... and i could atill run my cpu on my water loop at probably 4.5 maybe 4.7

i had one of those overclocking sessions about 3 or so weeks ago... was pouring for a friend like i mentioned above.... and watching 3 temps trying to keep them all in range is not super easy....

i am running my gpu right now at 825/1100

and started gpu folding a lil bit ago and i am at 6600/10000 not sure is thats ppd or what..... i had to shut her down last night because i was doing some work on her

Are you using fahmon to monitor the clients?

I read about those sessions, never done it myself though.. yet atleast. I do have a ss but it's busted ( leak, need captube fixed and refill. maybe a bigger condensor as well ).

no im gonna give that a shot....

i have a chilly1 ss but its not nice on the eyes... and not mounted pulls down to -43 to -45 mounted and idleing about -34 to -31

loaded holds about -31 to -27

i need to get the suction line lengthened and tuned as it is only 1 foot to 15 in in length so i have to sit it next to my case....

plus the case is horrible condition...

it also has not electronic controls as of this time....

i would like to have a 36in lineset if possible... and i have the top detrait ac condenser waiting to be put on....

but since i just got laid off... let alone dont know of anyone to do it either...

guess i will have to wait till i can afford to do so..

also i want to w/c the nb on my biostar ut also no cashflow so i gotta wait on that too...

guess it will all come in due time

i was gonna see if there is anyone loooking to get rid of a univ. chipset block in the marketplace but i cant even see the marketplace...

    not enough posts maybe??

Nope 100 posts required to see the 'marketplace'.. Don't spam yourself towards it though, vapor will lock you out till you reach 200 when you do

What you can do is look at the freebies threads, or just ask in a thread. The 100 post limit is so 'we' ( .. I should be feeling at home with my postcount shouldn't I ) get to know you a liltle.

Btw want to bet your ss looks better then mine

Mine doesn't even have a case around it

well my bare aliminum with some sort of double sided tape stuck to it.... case is ok.... i mean what can i do... at least its there....

    is your card ok btw??

i dont wanna seem like the new guy coming around with his hand out lol

but if someone has a swiftech chipset block laying around... i know that will fit...

only problem is i cant find anyone who makes a vreg cooler for the tpower I45

i dunno i mean its an ok board with a really crappy bios.... but it works...

oh btw if you look at the results i finally finished 1 work unit lol

    i know thats sad

Card been folding fine, almost convinced it was a driver fluke but idk for sure.

Hope to get many many wu's more to come from you

About the rest, I'm EU and flat broke ( well.. realisticly you could say that yeah ) but I'm sure a nb wb isn't that expensive and if you ask the right person who knows? Just as you say, I can't talk for everyone, I don't feel like you're acting like the new guy coming in with your hand out

Hey, kind of an interesting topic.... what if we tried for the WR in fastest WU turn-arounds? Hehehe kinda like extreme benchmarks for F@H...
Finish an SMP project 2665 WU in under 6 hours....

well if that cpu can fold over 5ghz I think you got a shot at it regardless. Most guys with quads which clock high enough run dual smp's so you got a real chanche of beating the snot out them in return times. Don't know if you can make up having 2 less cores though.
