Woot! Woot!!! Uh huh. Uh huh!!!! Finally! After numerous penalties imposed by Dak and server issues, I'll finally break 100k today after 4 days of busting my tail to keep things running. Whew! What a relief! I should have 103,618 despite a power outage today.

It feels sooo good! It couldn't have happened at a better time with RR adding 8-10K today. I'm assuming the upgrade cost at least a few SMP points otherwise it was a clean 10K plus.

LOL, It did not cost much, I put them on a C2D instead of sacrificing one of my quads. I lost like 800 points on SMP. Linux to windows but gained over 10,000. Congrats on breaking 100k

It looks like I posted too soon last night. I have no idea what's going on with the stats. It used to be if you uploaded points before 20:00 PDT, they would show up on the last update. Lately F@H has been updating an hour late. They updated between 19:00 and 20:00 last night but all the points didn't show at EOC. It looks like EOC is only counting points uploaded before 18:00 PDT in their 22:00 update.

Sheesh Foxtrot and Tango are still running neck and neck. More power Scotty! We need more power! Tango may take the lead tomorrow.

Only 2 clients exceeded their EUE limit yesterday. They got core 1.18 and seem to be doing fime so far. The rest still have 1.15. FWIW.

I've tried that with 2 SMPs in Vmware and one Vmware and one Doz SMP. In both cases at least one gpu2 took over a 2K hit. No joy with that config here.

If I could figure out how to make 2-2900s stay on 3dmode in server 2008 I would add them on a C2D or how to get 4 clients running at one with 3870x2 or 4870x2...

Does ATiTool not work with that OS?

Alternatively a Bios flash might do teh trick.

It will work with one card, but with 2 it does not work. I was wondering about tray tools. I have never tried it and hate to go install everything and it not work...

With the 5801 issues, my output was practically zero yesterday. Should be over 20k a day now though. Might be able to step it a little more, but that's about all I got. Looks like we need to do some recruiting or we might get lapped

I'm in college still I don't have that kind of money to build a huge farm with Believe me, if I did, I'd already have a large farm

Maybe if I put my laptop's GPU to work! Do they have a unishader client?

I tried adding a vmware player to windows and run 1 smp in vmware and one in winders on a quad, did not work well at all. I added this one in winders using the affinity changer and its working ok, 2000 ppd each SMP and no hit on GPUs, I do have the gpus set to low priority in the advance config instead of idle though. In windows SMP the problem is when you shut one down, you need to shut them both down and make sure no cores are running in the task manager before starting back up. Either end task them or reboot before start back up...

Maybe a weird place to ask, but yesterday I was talking with joe about his rig with both a good gpu and a 8600. He wanted to fold both, but obiviously that can't work just 1 2 3 but I was wondering if someone has treid it on vmware workstation 6.5 with an xp32 os ( so it has some kind of dx9 support, which I know we don't use but still it's a good sign.. ) to just try to get cuda going on it? I don't think it depends on dx, it should be teid in with the drivers. So maybe even a dx8 version of vmware might work?

Who else go mixed cards and wants to take a chanche?

God this sucks.... another day and 13kppd down the drain, im really starting to hate this damn puter.... i figured a nice pair of 88gts would work perfectly on my server board 2 gpu, 4 smp running 24/7 id rack up some points, but nooooo. this POS psu i got now wont even boot up the damn board

i guess thats what you get for thinking a nice 950w psu for 50% off would be a nice bargin from the egg... guess not

damn, now i cant get a new one till monday... why the heck cant they f**** deliver my stuff on a saturday???
Its not overkill if it works.
