at 1.35 is safe enough for a 24/7 bench test 1.362 is the max keep and eye on your temps as you bench it..a good thing is try to get your system dust free and build up in the fins of your heatsink and if you got alot of case fans keep the blades dusted off also as much as possible to keep good air flow

Trial and error mate, I set for 45nm 0.630 for both and test Vcore, then I try to set one notch Vcore lower and mess with GTL 's up and down... in my case core 1 always capped out, so I tried a bit higher and settled on 0.645... runs linpack test flawlessly and survived OCCT 2 hor CPU test too... stable enough for me... I'm no mathematician but I've read that most 45nm CPU's tend to like to be around 0.8...
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

Dom Thank you for the links

I have not tried higher fsb stability testing. Did post at 600*7 though. Bios NB settings is 1.45 and FSB is 1.30. Going to see if i can lower these more.

Just passed IntelBurnTest x5 will do x20 after some FarCry2.

I feel 1.41vcore is not bad. I would not go higher with these cpu's. Pumping 1.41-1.43 to my C0 E8400 for almost 8 months. Still alive and kicking thats for sure

Just got rid of my E8500 (C0) for an E8400 (E0) and the difference is already apparent. Waiting on a Biostar Tpower I45 to be able to test further than where I'm at. The IP35-E beta BIOS that works with E0 CPUs borked the MCH code, so you can't adjust the voltage; hence I can't go farther than this FSB.

3.8GHz, default Vcore (1.25v in BIOS, which is VID; 1.20v after Vdroop) ...this took +.04v from VID with my E8500.

    CPU info:

Will update once I can clock it like it should be clocked.

I wont be happy cuz I deserve more!! I've been waiting for more than 2 months, going to store every week check when they have the new E0s, they never had it... I looked up stores to order from US, had problems paypal, etc etc.. and then at the end from ordering newegg NEW JERSEY warehouse where ppl got E0s, I get a ty C0, made in June.. thrown on the ground by UPS in front of my door.. all this for C0, when I could of bought C0 300000 years ago ...

    Anyway I guess 4.2Ghz on 1.38 is OK for a C0.........

Edit: After a few months imma just JUICE this shiiet to like 1.5V see what it can handle.. I dont give a crud
