    Gigabyte P45-UD3P/R Compatible Air Coolers!

    Hey guys,
Just wanted to see who knew which high-performance air coolers can fit on the UD3R and UD3P. I had a Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer but it did not fit on the board so I'm looking at the Xigmatek 1283 right now with the retention kit...will it fit?

BTW - Feel free to let me and others know what other coolers are compatible with this board!

Did you have to take off the Blue covers on the heatsinks around the cpu to make it fit or did you just take em off for shizzles & giggles?

It'll clear with them on just fine. The covers are the stupidest thing to put on a passive heatsink, don't help temps one bit.

My tuniq tower fit fine after I ground off one of the tabs for mounting it on a socket 475 board. I have no pictures though.
