This CPU has been beat around pretty much so needs a ton of voltage to run 3.8 and above. The fault is not with the True. It was more then warm to the touch. It just couldn't dissipate all the heat being generated. I used a low speed Delta. Maybe in the 80cfm - 100cfm range and the board was in the open on the bench. 64Bit Linpack is brutal when used with quad cores. I was mainly interested in stable settings for the memory to run at its rated speed. I'll probably stick an E8400 or E8600 in the board in the next couple of days.

I've also had good luck with both of my kits of OCZ Reaper and this motherboard. (OCZ PC2-9200 2x1gb/RCOMP 2 ...OCZ PC2-8500 2x2gb/RCOMP 3)

I have Patriot Viper DDR2 1200 PC2 9600 installed and the I45 really likes it.

I have the same 2gb kit (2.3v). I didn't have much success with high fsb... what speed are you running? What RCOMP are you using? Any info as to your voltage settings, GTL refs and overclock with those sticks would be greatly appreciated. I could run 500fsb 4-4-4-12 but was hitting a wall when I tried to go higher.
