Gigabyte has recently demonstrated the next innovation in high frequency + stability computing with the release of the UD3 (Ultra Durable 3), as well as 2oz copper line of motherboards spanning Intel P45 and X58 chipsets. To read more about this technology go here: UD3 Technology

The recently released P45 has been spotted on XS benching 3D at an unprecedented 670FSB , and even more impressive, pushing a 45nm quadcore easily to 540FSB; thread here Quadcore @ 540FSB here

Simple Question: Is your board better than a UD3P? Let's see some overclocks; even if you fall short, it's okay. At least try to make it to the top ten list.

interesting.. however i do not believe in durability. This is because no1 is gonna use a board for 5years+... so whats the point of it being ULTRA durable?

no real OC-er uses fossil old boards... and thus do not require that durability that GB provides.....

I believe this is real deal. I remember GIGABYTE starting to introducing All Solid Capacitor Motherboard for more durability few years ago and then Ultra Durable, Ultra Durable2 and now Ultra Durable3. And we can see other brands follow the trend from GIGABYTE.

I'm using GIGABYTE P45-Extreme and GIGABYTE EP45UD3P. (click the link for FSB information)

Already upgrade to UD3.

I want to see if this Gigabyte offers anything beyond that. It's hard to say past 650fsb unless you compare using the same ram, cpu, conditions etc.. I am tempted to grab one of these GB boards.

With the new chips coming out soon the only reason i went for the gig board was that is was 106 after a 20 mir, plus DDR2 which i had some fast stuff, so it was so cheap and had potential that i wanted to play.

try fsb/ram 1:1 and get more outta the q9650.. the chipset on your ud3 has more left in it

but i dont want you to blow up your ud3.. it aint the dq6/extreme
