    got my ASUS M3A79-T Deluxe

put today put it all up today tried with auto out on AOD I got up to 2.9ghz which is nice, gona have to change it my self though, anyways how do I change my ram settings on this board the books a little vag on where the hell it is ? so I can change it to 1066mhz and adjust the timings.

I noticed this board runs a lot cooler too my MSI board as getting up to about 44C load. Now I'm barely getting to about 40C load @ 2.9ghz O_O
    HAVE NO FEAR!

    go to jumperfree configuration
    set it to manual
    then memory timing settings
u can only change everything if u set it to manual.

where ou select the OC to manual, you have 2 submenues for ram settings, in the second one the first option :P, and you`ll be able to set the speed that you want

    GO to Jumper free config

THen go to the 2nd ram configuration menu. Once there set it to manual, then set 2t mode to "enabled" and set it to 1066.

    Woot
    Small Victory
I was able boot and run at 3.6 Ghz lasted long enough run SuperPi and get CPU validition
    SuperPi 1M @ 21.762 secs
This time I took a screenshot
    http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=435762

After that I backed it down just a little bit to 3.570Ghz and was able to run 3DMark06 with Triple 4870's
    3Dmark06 score=19709
    We really need HTT 3.1
With three 4870's(PCIE2.0 x8), a CPU @3.57GHz and my NB and HTT 210x12(2520) all I could get was 19700
    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=8625915

hopefully this gets better with Deneb

deathstar, thats awesome bro. Why is your CPU score so low in 3dmark though? I was like five points under the 5k mark at 3.4 GHz. With my 9850, my 9950 at 3.4 GHz was only a few points off.

3.3 GHz using a bit higher FSB instead of upping the multi, higher ram clocks. Ram pretty good for 3.3 GHz

The few reasons I can think of is
One I had to switch from XP to Vista to run Trifire
second I ran a lower ref. clock this time 215 in XP, 210 in the Vista run
plus I had to drop my PCI-E speed from 119 from CF to 105 to run Trifire

    (210*17, NBx12, HTTx12, PCIE@105, vcore1.55v NBvid1.3v, HTT1.28v, NB1.28v, SB1.28v, disabled ACC, Autoexpress, Microcode update and ganged mode,enabled CPUTweak(that's all I remember for now))

I had modded my water/ice cooling to get thru these runs
My temps were at 25c at those speeds

    well I'm in vist64bit and have 9850 but I finally got 3.0ghz (3,010mhz 215x14)

takes me 1.5625 volts though idle here is high 47C but that's because AOD has the red circle on in the corner and when I turn it off it freezes up on me >_> after like 2 minutes.

little gaming I haven't seen no near 60C yet.

Dont take this the wrong way, i'm only comparing as I could only imagine how good you would score if the score was right, but I used to score that in Vista at 3.15 GHz, i'll look for the screeny and see if I have and post it.

Here is a comparison with CPU and the same clock, everything identical, but one score is with all 4 cores enabled, and one is with only 2 cores enabled. Notice the difference in vCore also.

    Runs in Super Pi

    All Four Cores Enabled:

    Only Two Cores Enabled:
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D // ASUS ROG Crosshair X670E Hero // ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 360 A-RGB // G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo RGB Series (AMD Expo) DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MT/s CL30 // ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 AMP Extreme AIRO // Samsung Pro 980 2TB NVMe (OS and Games) // WD Black 10TB HDD (Storage)

Here is the same comparison as above in the Generic CPU bench. I didnt take a screen of the two core 3.4 GHz run so to show the difference in crunch time I put a 3.2 GHz run of the two core run. Still crunches quicker, but obviously scores a lot less.

    All Four Cores:

    Two Cores:
