Well the Mobo overall is running nice and cool...Very pleased so far on BUILD quality "Except for BIOS and HEAPPIPE",,lol typo

Getting used to the wierdness of the Bios is driving me crazy and ive only had the thing to days lol...The 8+2 phase runs like a w_-Dream ..When i first recieved the Mobo I made shure the PWM/North/South heatsinks made 100% flat contact...I actually had to tweak the pip alittle for all three to be perfect flat on the pwm's and chips..Well worth it if one is not going to cool them with water...

Ill try for more later,, If i can have CPUvid and NBfid added or unlocked Via a Mod Bios ill let you guys know,,

Id really want to keep this thing VS having to exchange .If the VID's cant be modded to (AMI BIOS dont work out to my likiing)..ILL get the New DFI790fxb(although this is nice 2 have)...(Personally ASUS looks better and has better heatpipe design ..Plus the Ram slots are spaced far apart for some FLEX2's.

Im not AMI saving for doing mods and Polygon now has a DFI790fxb at hand and is tweaking his Bios for that..So if i go that route it will be super bios swaps again.

Just giving the ASUS a chance before i decide what to do.

Also i knew i wasnt the Only one who experianced all the buggyness with the first two Bioses...They will get better by far..Reminds me of the M2N32delux/Chrosshair on steriods,this mobo has the right stuff just needs Bios.

i Dont use EXPRESS mumbojumbo and the CPU VOLT Warning is very anoying..WE BUY THESe THINGS to TWEAK...we dont need to be reminded that we are Hotrodding our stuff right guys/gals.

UPDATE: HTT292 @ 3.5ghzUPDATE

Hmm once the HTT/FSB is raised it seems to comprimize NB .Mobo goes above 250easy and is flawless up to 292 for me...It probally goes higher seeing my chip kinda tops out around 3.5ghz...Its run 3550mhz on the TA but i havnt evven tried it on this yet..ive been se what Max's i could do @3.5ghz first..im very happy so far..

For me there is little to gain from High HTT/FSB..It seems like it is more responsive but thats it. Now If you have a 9750 or 9650 which can use 11.5 and 12xmulti ..11.5x 292htt = 3358mhz ,,which is not be bad at all. As the Bioses mature i expect to break HTT/300 one day

First push went for HTT250 ..With 5000mhzHT @ 3.5ghz//2500mhzNB..



Now Max HTT/FSB 292 @3.5ghz/2000mhzNB.....Note how NB had to be lower the Higher the HTT/FSB went above 250





Interesting and i think plauseable too ,,In everest i saw this for thr Phenom IMC,,I know its on the CPU Note: DDR-2 800 DDR-3 800 which is used for 1066 ram timing (Highlighted BLUE BOX) Woulnt they of just put DDR-2 1066? Also When the HTT is set to 250 in ASUS BIOS the MEMORY DIVIDER can READ/show freqencies above 1333mhz ..I really like how it shows the Overclocked Ram in actual freqency (MHZ ).. nice..Does this mean the Phenoms we are running Now have IMC with DDR3 built in? But no one has bothered to write Bios code for it ,,Or is it just covered up as 1066 mode..it really has me thinking ...Will we really need AM3 to run DDR3 or can this Mobo phenom really run it if its programed into Bios to run.

Im shure when 45nm arrives ASUS may suprise us,,I would think they could time the Ram Multis to run 7-7-7-24 DDR3.. SB750 can handle DDR3..they time the 1066 5-7-7-24 by default...I think were gonna be in for a trick and a treat at the end of the month.





Note:
I used patriot 2x 512mb sticks 1gig total..If the Bios crashes id have to put them in any how because the mobo defaults Volts to low (1.5 instead of 1.8v for the Corsair they recomend to run)
Now that i know whats what in the settings ,, maybe i give a run @300 again with the Dominators. I hate swapping ram when the Bios resets if i mess up..Asus needs to fix that problem fast.
