Yeah, but the second card isn't able to do 1890 on the shaders, so I set them both to 1836. What I wonder now is if I should let the two SMP run or take one down. Following FahMon both are doing 3300 PPD together, is that more than a single SMP (Q6600@3.4)?

as long as you're on vista P2501, you can leave both smp's going... 2 smp's on a Q6600 will always turn more with a ffinity changer than a single smp with the a1 core.
the pitfall here being which os. xp would require those gpu's to use 2 full cores...
why don't you get everything situated like you like it, and post a shot of fahmon when it gets stabilized and green....
my pref on the gpu clients would probably be set them to "higher priority" and "do not lock cores" since you're running 2..
someone else probably needs to help here though since all mine are single gpu machines.

Ummm... hell yeah! We've all been waiting for you to declare a team. And we know your frustration with the SMP. I just assumed if you couldn't run WFO or 100% beep beep it wouldn't be racing for you. Pick a team or let Dak assign you. Your choice.

I need this new case asap as my Antec can't dissapate the heat well enough even if I have the Zalmans @ 2700RPM.

I'm looking at the Xion stacker because its cheap and can have two 120mm side fans, the lower one will be perfect for getting rid of the GPU heat. Going to chuck in 4 hiper 120mm fans in total, 1 front and back, 2 sides.

Do you guys run caseless or do you run with a case?

The new core is working for me now.

Not too shabby for a chopped GSO (really a gt w/ 96 sp, sorta) and two real gsos!

    I think 5450 is good considering people w/ 8800gt's are getting 5800.

I'm not going to let mak2000 get by me that quickly.

Edit: that's only the folding farm pc. My gaming is pushing 6300ppd, but only running 18 hours a day, you guys get the idea. I "should" be pushing 18K. Lets see what EOC says soon.
    You must [not] advance.

If you use cardboard, just be sure to cut some good vent holes for fans.

Thanks, I guess then I'll just leave both SMP running, since they're doing so since the beginning of this quaddies life.
Mike, I'm running Vista64 and I didn't change the option for core locking, I just changed the priority to low, which is what I set for the first card and that worked pretty well.
I let them run after I set them up yesterday:
