    I'm surprised a 520w PS is gonna be enough for 4 GPUs... wow.
    Agree with the F@H PrOn...hehehe... it's hellacious!

    the HX520 has 40A on the 12V rail. He's probably near its limits but it isn't a slouch PSU. Don't try this on your run-of-the-mill bundled 500W unit though

    HX520 is an awesome PSU. It is the only power supply I know of in that wattage range that can handle ANY current single card. That power supply is what most companies would rate as a 750W.

    Thanks for the comments guys.

    The PSU isn't breaking a sweat, it's warm but the fan isn't even on full speed so yeah that PSU kicks ass!

    By tomorrow night I will have jumped over 400 places

    Welcome to the team, Anarki!

    PPD scores atm:

    W= 129007
    T = 93355
    F = 101354

    If Anarki joins Tango, then Foxtrott and Tango still need some PPD to reach Whiskey!

    edit: Yeah, stupid typo.

    Eight (8) more days till the Green Flag is dropped. Racers jogging for pole position at start of race...hmmm, inside track, outside track, should I come out wide open or pace myself, at what point should I launch the nitrous (secret weapon deployment), who should I recruit at the last minute, do I run all GPU or mix SMP in, do I stop crunching other projects and go all out for F@H or keep a good balance of projects. Wow, so many choices.

    P.S. Today we move up 1 position...Portugal@ Folding moves to our rearview mirror

    The dongles take 2 minutes to make, I brought 10 100Ohm resistors from Maplins for £1.20. You bend one pin around and snip both pins to size and jam it it the holes. 3 resistors per dongle

    CPU usage at 47% (2.3GHz dual core) I made sure that the affinity lock was off so it's showing around 80% load on core 1 and about 11% on core 0.

    get your secret weapons ready for mass deployment...

    make sure you're on a team in the OP.
    I just copied DAK's op list to the spreadsheets for the upcoming scorekeep.
    so make sure your name is on the list if you want in...

    here's the teams as of today...
    I'm not on the list

    I am hoping to have this 4450e running at 10x300 (3GHz) by the time the green flag drops. This PC gets hella warm with 4 GPU's crunching - I have 5 80mm fans (4 Zalmans @ 1500RPM and 1 generic @ 3000RPM) and they are pushing out some serious heat!

    Did you PM DAK? Do you have a team preference Anarki? Tango is the slot up for new blood... but you get to choose if you haven't already pm'ed DAK... if you have, pm him again and remind him.. once you're in the master op list, I'll add you to the scorekeep spreadsheet http://www.scootplace.net/fah/XS/halloween/ ...

    Dak, just for clarification, the race starts midnight EOC time which = Mountain time? For me it would be 22:00 Pacific.

    Ya gots to let us know if you mean Zulu or Greenwich!

    Edit: Smp clients need to be timed precisely to drop at 12:01.
