    The DFI 790FXB board comes with Q-connector which I liked on the Asus board. I did not like the Q-Shield and the DFI does not use one of these. I have my DFI 790FXB board and just need to find the time to fit it.

    Fans: 120mm at bottom, 120mm at top and small fan blowing onto northbridge area.
    Mobo: DFI DK 790FXB-M2RSH (Bios R7SD421)
    Ram: 2 x 2GB DDR2 1066MHz OCZ Gold 5-6-6-18
    Graphics: Asus HD4850
    Power: 700W storm PSU
    Hard drives:1 x 750GB 2 x 300GB SATA and 2x 320GB SATA
    CD/DVD drives: 1 x muti Burner and 1 x muti reader
    OS: Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit/64bit

    thats good to know. I thought ASUS was the only one that had q connectors and stuff. Those are nice little gagdets that just simplify installing and wiring.

    Let us know how you like that DFI board once you have it running.

    That's good to know. What about the Q-shield didn't you like? It makes installation of I/O a breeze and it looks nice and clean.
