    Widescreen issues

Just recently the XS forums seem to be stuck in 4:3 for me, pages will not maximise to a widescreen resolution correctly. Issue occurs at 1440, 1680 and 1920, on FF3, IE7 and Chrome.

Anyone else getting this? Kind of irritating.

It's having a serious negative effect on my experience at XS.

For my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream.

Other sites have a skin that makes it widescreen. That would be super.

The odd thing is, though that it was working - right up until a couple of hours ago when I first logged on. I'm not sure what changed, but I don't think it's on my end - tried another PC in the house that's never been to XS before (so no cache), same issue, IE7 and FF3 both exhibit the same behaviour, so I don't think it's browser related.

They don't have to use any skins. XS has worked fine with widescreen until tonight.

Don't worry, I'm having the same problem. When I'm in a thread it's fine, but the User CP page, new posts page, etc. are all messed up.

Yeah I just started to see bizarre stuff like my inbox for PMs is like 1/3 of my screen width lol. I'm not too sure how people with 30"s are gonna feel.

Interesting that you guys aren't seeing anything in thread, as you can see from the screenies in my first post this is occurring nearly everywhere for me, although it sometimes comes right for me in-thread.

Edit: I've just noticed that it seems only Australians and Canadians are getting this bug

I can resize XS just fine, WS and make smaller. But Toms Hardware is always moving a few inches to the right when the forums load there, I have to drag it back to the left. I wonder if we all use IE and a patch came out we don't know about.
All stock for now, no need for more, but it's gonna be soon methinks.

So you're not having any issues?

Not to me. It happens less often in thread viewing now, but consistently in the indexes.

Yeah, for me it happens only in parts of the forums, and some are 1/3 of the screen like the PMs...

It may happen absolutely random - same topic may or may not show the problem at different times
