I've often thought about what it would be like to put one's self on pause between interesting moments. I always wonder if you'd eventually run out of things to do, since pausing through so much would reduce the amount of "points" you'd want to go to as you complete them without having time to find new ones.
Particle's First Rule of Online Technical Discussion:
As a thread about any computer related subject has its length approach infinity, the likelihood and inevitability of a poorly constructed AMD vs. Intel fight also exponentially increases.
Rule 1A:
Likewise, the frequency of a car pseudoanalogy to explain a technical concept increases with thread length. This will make many people chuckle, as computer people are rarely knowledgeable about vehicular mechanics.
Rule 2:
When confronted with a post that is contrary to what a poster likes, believes, or most often wants to be correct, the poster will pick out only minor details that are largely irrelevant in an attempt to shut out the conflicting idea. The core of the post will be left alone since it isn't easy to contradict what the person is actually saying.
Rule 2A:
When a poster cannot properly refute a post they do not like (as described above), the poster will most likely invent fictitious counter-points and/or begin to attack the other's credibility in feeble ways that are dramatic but irrelevant. Do not underestimate this tactic, as in the online world this will sway many observers. Do not forget: Correctness is decided only by what is said last, the most loudly, or with greatest repetition.
Rule 3:
When it comes to computer news, 70% of Internet rumors are outright fabricated, 20% are inaccurate enough to simply be discarded, and about 10% are based in reality. Grains of salt--become familiar with them.
Remember: When debating online, everyone else is ALWAYS wrong if they do not agree with you!
Random Tip o' the Whatever
You just can't win. If your product offers feature A instead of B, people will moan how A is stupid and it didn't offer B. If your product offers B instead of A, they'll likewise complain and rant about how anyone's retarded cousin could figure out A is what the market wants.
You would probably end up the same way Adam Sandler did in Click.

who do you think your are? belitteing possible replys before they are even made, or try to make fun of possible accusations of fake pics?
there may be peeps here that actualy think that these are fake, but now feel, they will be seen to inflame the thread by possible legit comments.
how dare you, just because you swallow this , doesnt mean we all have to.
your post in itself is beyond me, pointless and begging for flaming, why not just get on with the post? and replys to the post?
and what makes it more interesting is that you got, so called ' i dont want hassle in my threads' agreeing with you..lol
you guys crack me up, you really dont want to hear a thing other than your hive aggreements ehh?
heres your mates sig, the irony here is that he agrees with you lot, but has adam curtis spewing rubbish about bloggers, when the exact same comment, can be applied to you lot with a few words changed, read on.
First of all, the people who write in forums, for example, are self-selecting. Quite frankly it's quite clear that what forum posters are bullies. The internet has removed a lot of constraints on them. You know what they're like: they're deeply emotional, they're bullies, and they often don't get out enough. And they are parasitic upon already existing sources of information - they do little research of their own.
What then happens is this idea of the 'hive mind', instead of leading to a new plurality or a new richness, leads to a growing simplicity

Any super pi scores?
i3 2100, MSI H61M-E33. 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws.

Corsair HX 620, CM 690, Win 7 Ultimate 64bit.
Well I knew in the past it was intel bias but I didn't think it still was with newer versions. Haven't really checked.
Honestly I could care less, When it comes to WIC and COD4 benchmarks then I give a damn. But I don't expect to see them anytime soon so any kind od benchmark would be nice. Even if it is Intel biased be we can still compare this score to say a 9950 benchwark which we clearly have available

It just runs better on intel chips. Always has as far as I remember, even when the A64 kicked the P4's butt the P4 was still quicker in superpi. Hardly what I'd call a good benchmark comparing the two companies, especially since it isn't multithreaded either. Can use it to compare intel CPUs to intel CPUs, or AMD CPUs to AMD CPUs if you really wanted to I guess.

Im not going to around go in circles about SuperPI, do your own home work and find out how it is complied & to what instructions it makes use of for you to see why its faster on the Intel.
How about a real multi threaded bench mark like Winrar Cpu Bench Mark as multi thread & multi tasking is the point of a quad cpu.

That doesn't mean the benchmark is "biased" or that it can't be of use to someone contemplating buying an AMD system.
As there is no one single benchmark that is adequate to give a true picture of performance, there is no reason why Super Pi can't be included in a suite of benchmarks to help people reach an informed decision.
Read my above reply to see how meaningless what you have written is.You must of started enthusiast computing the same time as Glow9 to not know that.
