    No im just too busy right now lol.. im trying to get some time in to get it done. I own a computer repair shop in michigan that does well over $20,000 a month gross along with 5 employees to watch.. im a busy guy

    Looking good so far
    Nothing one piece is close to being warm

    I painted the case and installed the motherboard. I guess the real testing begins after all my insides are ready to go... then ill do some stress testing

    That really doesn't look bad at all

    But I would be worried about the ic's, and yes even dried up paint can be a firehazard depending on the paint. Think if those ic's get 100c, you will get some nice smell of the paint fumes to.

    Its been running for a few days now and everything seems to be running perfect.. no weird smells and no extra heat

    looks like alot of you were wrong about my painting skills LOL

    I guess you've never seen a DFI motherboard?

    IMHO it was uglier after it was painted, it looks like it's really dirty/greasy/grimy.

    I'm sorry I missed this when it was originally posted, awesome job.

    The flat-out coolest painting job I've ever seen was a guy who painted his black like yours, but used some black-light paint on top of that that glowed green to draw circuits on it. It looked like it must have taken him a week to do and who knows how much hassle, but it was awesome. Maybe something to consider for next time when you try with an expensive mobo?
