Ket, here are the latest stats as of 7:28AM EDT today.

Logger asked for my PayPal info around the time I logged off to get some sleep and I missed the PM, so I just replied to him a few minutes ago.

Here are the standings donation-wise of funds actually received:

I put up the first $10 to start this
$15 'pending' inbound via paypal from Slovnaft once PayPal clears it.
    $38 total fom radaja
    $25 from whodie
    $17 from philbrown23

Including my $10 plus the $95 I've received thus far covers $105 of the $140 I put out, leaving me -$35.00 real-time. (not counting the few bucks PayPal hits me for, but that's not a big deal in the larger picture here)

It's amazing what can happen with a small but focused and dedicated effort, thanks folks!

    5. Marcam923 $15

AWESOME! It may not have been perfectly smooth, but with a great price from another member, this was a success so far! Now as soon as KET gets the board we can see some magic!

Hopefully by time my visiontek 4870x2 gets here in a couple weeks we can have a new bios. The Tpower should be here today, and I will be setting up that system starting Oct 20th!

Thanks again everyone that chipped in and especially to thehinge1 for ponying up the money, and to KET for some future great bios!

    Ok, finally got back home...

Logger sent $25 Canuck bucks which worked out to $20.89US thru the pirates at PayPal.

Let me check email/PM and I will update in a few current stats...

I had to get a calculator out!
We were very close to even and then walternowi kicked it up a notch!

Final standings of donations received for Ket's TPower:
$15 'pending' from Slovnaft once PayPal finally clears it.
    $38 from radaja
    $25 from whodie
    $17 from philbrown23
    $15 from Marcam923
$25 Canuck bucks from Logger which worked out to $20.89US
$20 from walternowi, who generously offered to cover my original $10 pledged to this

We ended up at $145.73USD net after paypal 'fees' which is actually $5.73 over the board's cost, so per walternowi Tiberius is getting a big box of biscuits for being so patient while we got together and made this work. I'll get a pic of him enjoying his new treats tomorrow & post it right here!

Thanks again to all, we did it!

Awesome!! I love Huskies, that probably stems from me wanting a Wolf as pet but knowing I can't have one. I hope he enjoys his treats.

Here is a shot of Bailey definitely working better than my 780i right now.

My case is as barren as that right now too it pains me to see Prowler that way, but its how it must be until the TPower or P5Q Pro makes a comeback!

Yeah just installed my 3rd 780i, same problems as the last two. I think I have officially given up on this board.

Think its time to say goodbye to SLI and install the TPower!

Your better off without a 780i I've seen so many reports of weird issues and poor performance its incredible the chipset is still being used.

a great looking dog!...what is more amazing; people are taking better care of pets than many years ago.

my dog, pete, has cushing's disease..it is easy to google to find out what it is but basically, it generally is a small tumor (in about 75% of most dogs) which interferes with the pituitary gland which regulates the hormone controling the adrenal gland...thus, the adrenal gland is overproducing cortisol, which is as dangerous as is excessive glucose in the bloodstream, if not more...cortisol affects every cell.

the treatment is to administer an approved human chemotherapy drug that was designed to kill the outer layers of the adrenal gland so only one layer is left to produce minimal amount of cortisol....the drug has to be administered regulary (every other day) since the adrenal gland will regenerate.

plus, i give him four other drugs to control thyroid gland deficiency to incontinence, blood pressure and arthritis in one foreleg.

BUT..he is WELL worth it!!!...as you found out, a dog or cat is a friend for LIFE and he/she will give unbridled love and affection to his/her pack leader, which is YOU!

Yep Tasha is like that. Every day without fail she has to come visit me at various times as is her "routine" and first thing in the morning without fail she will either sit at my door until I come out or jump on my bed for a hug, shes awesome

marcam, I assume we are looking for mouse lag? If thats the case the only lag I saw was when your hand was getting tired so not quite sure what I'm looking at

Well actually there are two things in that video. First at three points in the video you will hear the music slow down. Turn up your volume. Second, yes I guess you could call it lag, where it seems like the mouse sticks to the computer screen, then jumps to where it is supposed to be. It does that when the sound slows down.

    Any ideas?

Thanks Ace. Your little Pete-man is handsome happy fellow as well and obviously you understand the commitment to a 'special needs' animal. I still can't believe the bozos that gave up on Tiberius, and would go homeless/hungry before letting my 'son' be without proper food, medicine, and care. Once upon a time I thought I rescued him, but after this year's events (laid off, father died, clueless woman crashed into late father's car resulting in injuries requiring surgery on my shoulder, etc.) I came to realize that he really rescued me.

and yes, cortisol is heavy-duty stuff. He looks like you take awesome care of him!

my dog, pete, has cushing's disease..it is easy to google to find out what it is but basically, it generally is a small tumor (in about 75% of most dogs) which interferes with the pituitary gland which regulates the hormone controling the adrenal gland...thus, the adrenal gland is overproducing cortisol, which is as dangerous as is excessive glucose in the bloodstream, if not more...cortisol affects every cell.

the treatment is to administer an approved human chemotherapy drug that was designed to kill the outer layers of the adrenal gland so only one layer is left to produce minimal amount of cortisol....the drug has to be administered regulary (every other day) since the adrenal gland will regenerate.

plus, i give him four other drugs to control thyroid gland deficiency to incontinence, blood pressure and arthritis in one foreleg.

BUT..he is WELL worth it!!!...as you found out, a dog or cat is a friend for LIFE and he/she will give unbridled love and affection to his/her pack leader, which is YOU!
Well Marcam, Tiberius may actually be a low to mid-content wolf mix. He has the large /wide head & jaw in relation to body size, very large and 'thick' feet (like he's wearing platform soles), and exhibits 'dual' behavior like dog and wolf meaning he will switch gears from one to the other depending upon his immediate environment. Fortunately in my home state an animal with less than 75% wolf content is treated just like a domestic dog from a legal standpoint.

*However* I do not recommend breeding wolfdogs (the term 'hybrid' is misleading as the genes are basically the same). Unless you understand their strict social structure and can devote lots of time to properly socializing them and feeding their much higher level of intelligence they can be quite nervous plus destructive - never mind the high amount of physical exercise required. They also want to rule the home no matter what. You can never let your guard down completely or they will make a run for lead role in your pack creating a difficult situation at best

OTOH, if you are up for the challenge they are incredible creatures

I had Tiber plus two fosters (Xena=HUGE female and Kye=small male) in my home last Winter and it was quite interesting at times. We had a few 'extra orifice' incidents when the fosters did not properly respect him but they sorted it quickly without intervention needed (but man did it ever look ugly when the Kye did not want to submit at first).

Bailey looks like he wants to BE the computer... Zen cat?

Regarding the Nfarce 780i, didn't Nvidia get in some crap a while back about sending a bad batch of laptop chipsets out to vendors and they actually made their way into machines? I'm not anti-Nvidia but Intel hasn't ever let me down - just AS*Stek with two crap boards lately in the form of a P5K Pro with gigabit one post/nongigabit LAN on the next and my well documented and flaky P5Q-E. I know occasionally any vendor can have a 'funky' item or two but the first 'E' was the replacement for the P5K Pro so it really chafed my hide.
