Isn't there a risk of static electricity?

cabbspapp has a very good point, towels, carpets and so many other fiberous items build up static electricity that could fry your parts. It would suck to have to replace some nice parts man.

I stuck in one of my Antec 900 blue LED fans I had laying around, the lower half was just too dull. Trying not to spend any money on this for a while

    Stupid auto-focus.

At least you have a camera that doesn't swear at you every time you try taking a picture in an environment any darker than the sun.

I had to set a 6/10th of a second shutter time, aperture all the way open, and 80 ISO to get that picture. No way in hell are you holding the camera with those settings. I want a DSLR

cabbspapp what did you do with your heat probe? Mine is sitting at the bottom of my case functioning as a thermometer for my room.

Also I was thinking of replacing the mesh with some acrylic, one clear with something etched on it and one or two smoked black panels behind it. Then light it up with a LED or neon tube. Got any ideas for a cool image to etch?

    Thanks MomijiTMO.

My heat probe is sitting in the intake for the hard drives. I removed my mesh though, I thought it looked like crap, and I'm too cheap to buy a side panel with a window. As for etching, go with something you think is cool. Shocker maybe?

The only different part would be the side panel I bought for it. Nearly all Lian-Li V-2000 parts can fit on to it.

I like the club, especially since I got in for free. Won the at nvision, for standing in line early.

Good to know that there is a good supply of spare parts for this baby.

cabbspapp, how does the RED logo from TF2 sound?

I think that would be pretty cool as long as you actually like TF2.

TF2 has gone from obsession to nearly a religion for me....

I just wanted some input since I haven't seen many panel etches in person and don't know how it will turn out.

Here is my current build and I use the house fan during benching runs to dump hot air straight out the window. I made a work log of my air cooling mod run and have lowered load by at least 10C:

Air Cooling Project: 101. Lowered CPU load by 9-10C .

I also recently won a new mobo and it should be here any day I'm really looking forward to it:

GA-EP45T-EXTREME, should give me even better load temps I believe.

Will post a further pic when I get the new mobo set up.
